Melania Trump gazes out of her living room window over the gold tapestry of New York's Central Park. It's late November, and from her spacious apartment, which occupies the top three floors of the 68-story Trump Tower, in Midtown Manhattan, the 843 acres nestled among the gray sea of buildings below seem small, like a wet towel left on the bathroom floor by a teenager.
Melania, 45, dressed in a pink cap-sleeved Antonio Berardi sheath dress and matching Louboutin heels, nods over her shoulder grimly. "That building," she says, gesturing toward another skyscraper under construction at the corner of 57th Street and Park Avenue, two blocks to the east. At almost 1,400 feet, the structure in question already soars some 20 stories over the Trumps' apartment, making it the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere. "It is too high, and it looks almost dangerous," she exclaims with a soft sigh. "It is too…much."

Yes! On a scale from zero to ten, worst to best, she is most definitely a ten! As for Michelle, the scale went negative below zero.
No kidding, she appears to be an intelligent woman and she NOT going to tell kids what they may eat for lunch, have rappers to STATE DINNERS, and speaks fluent English, French, Italian, and Slovenian. :-)

Love this article, BAW! Thanks so much. Melania Trump is a lovely, graceful woman. That she is raising Barron without the assistance of a nanny is fantastic. But not surprising. Imagine having a first family like this- it seems like it’s been forever.

Donald Jr. said YES...my father is just a blue collar guy, with a huge balance sheet. He knows a LOT about sports and he is really funny.
Well, we all know that Trump is really funny and many of us have said, here, that he is just a very "NORMAL" guy who also has a very great deal of money. :-)
Maybe Melania isn't looking forward to life in a fishbowl. I hope their marriage isn't negatively impacted. Trump is so intense, I don't think he always does it on purpose, but he hogs the spotlight. But he does gaze with pride on his wife and family, especially so when Melania speaks; she doesn't seem to have a need to say a lot. He is a very powerful personality; she seems an equal to that. I wonder what brought her to do that photo shoot for Harper's now.
But she sounds fine and I doubt that as FIRST LADY, she'll be ordering us around and making sure that public school kids starve at lunch time.

In their interview with Barbra Walters, both Melania and Donald insisted that Melania was one of the first to push Donald into running. She said that she believed he'd make a good president.
It surprised me because she seems so shy, but by pushing Donald to run, she would only bring more attention to herself.
So Melania is doing this for something other than her own comfort.
