Trump to scrap UK investments if barred from Britain

Donald Trump will scrap $1 billion of planned investments in Britain if he is banned from entering the country, a spokesman for the US politician's business empire said on Wednesday.

British lawmakers are expected to debate whether the Republican presidential candidate should be barred from Britain for an alleged "hate speech", a move the Trump Organization said would set a "dangerous precedent".

The organisation said the US tycoon had planned to invest a total of £700 million pounds (950 million euros, $1 billion) in two golf courses he owns in Scotland.

"Any action to restrict travel would force The Trump Organization to immediately end these and all future investments we are currently contemplating in the United Kingdom," spokesman George Sorial said in a statement.

"Westminster would create a dangerous precedent and send a terrible message to the world that the United Kingdom opposes free speech and has no interest in attracting inward investment."

Parliament is due to debate whether Trump should be banned on January 18, after an online petition calling for him to be barred gathered more than 570,000 signatures.

Lawmakers are obliged to consider for debate any official petition that reaches 100,000 signatures, but no decision is taken at the end of the session.

The petition accused Trump of hate speech after his call last month for Muslims to be temporarily denied entry to the United States, following a mass shooting in California by a Muslim couple said to have been radicalised.

He has also in recent months labelled Mexican immigrants rapists and mocked a disabled reporter by mimicking him.

Prime Minister David Cameron has condemned Trump's remarks on Muslims as "divisive, stupid and wrong" but does not support banning him. (snip)

Again, what is his public position?

As a candidate?

Still a private citizen. No public position has been attained.

As a campaign platform?

He has none regarding his business dealings with Great Britain

So, what is he mingling his private business with?

Again, what is his public position?

************

His current position, according to him, is as frontrunner in the Presidential race— that’s public.

I believe you might be contemplating a restrictive definition of “position”, as in a “job” - but that’s a lesser usage of the term. You can check the dictionary, but I believe I’m accurate.

In any event, his current position- his relative place- is as he defined it in his letter, above.

Anyone, have to take it in for tonight—

Oh, and I “made nothing up” . He did intermingle public and private in this instance. I suspect that doesn’t matter to you, but he did nonetheless.

It does not matter-there is no impropriety.

If he was elected, then I could agree.

A good night to you.

He’s still only a private citizen at the moment, and as a private citizen, is yielding the considerable leverage he has to fight this unfair action. As President, he would have much more leverage at his disposal to hit back with and wouldn’t need to use his personal finances. It really ticks you off to see someone fight back, doesn’t it?

No, he threatens to withhold a billion dollars of investment from the UK if they decide to bar him, and as a result, they’re very unlikely to do so. That’s called negotiating.

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, our Colonel Flagg.

Idiots. JUst like our people. Paul Ryan and the others denouncing an opinion that the vast majority of Americans have right now about Muslims. I personally at this point don’t even know if it’s a religion. To me, it’s more like communism or socialism...in short, an “ism”.

The UK is a toilet bowl.

You conflate the issue. The issue is whether or not he will use his public position to advance his multi billion dollar global financial interests. In this instance, he intermingles both.

The claim is that Trump is not controlled by outsider money— the question is — is he controlled by his own financial interests?

Rapes by muslims will increase to the point that the PC Brits
can’t hide them anymore. The rapes and other criminal acts committed by Jihadists in Europe will be coming to PC first UK.

Muslim Male “Refugees” Are Gang Raping Women in Europe

Two weeks ago the New York Times ran a story about the need to host classes in Norway and Denmark for Muslim men new to the country. The topic? Rape is wrong and unacceptable.

A course manual sets out a simple rule that all asylum seekers need to learn and follow: “To force someone into sex is not permitted in Norway, even when you are married to that person.:

In Denmark, lawmakers are pushing to have such sex education included in mandatory language classes for refugees. The German region of Bavaria, the main entry point to Germany for asylum seekers, is already experimenting with such classes at a shelter for teenage migrants in the town of Passau.

Many refugees “come from cultures that are not gender equal and where women are the property of men,”
Mr. Isdal said. “We have to help them adapt to their new culture.”

Henry Ove Berg, who was Stavanger’s police chief during the spike in rape cases, said he supported providing migrants sex education because “people from some parts of the world have never seen a girl in a miniskirt, only in a burqa.” When they get to Norway, he added, “something happens in their heads.”
Now, Germany is facing the same type of rape epidemic as progressive politicians continue to allow thousands of refugees, many of whom are military aged males, into the country.

During New Years Eve celebrations in the western city of Cologne, dozens of Muslim men allegedly participated in rape mobs. They surrounded young women, touched them, raped them and stole their wallets and cell phones. Tensions surrounding how the situation is being handled are rising by the day. From ABC News:

A string of sex assaults and robberies during New Year’s celebrations in Germany has fuelled debate about the country’s ability to integrate large numbers of migrants, after police said that men who targeted dozens of women in the western city of Cologne appeared to be of “Arab or North African origin.”

Political leaders including Chancellor Angela Merkel condemned the attacks, though many also warned against hasty conclusions about the perpetrators. But to some Germans already uneasy about the one million asylum-seekers their country took in last year the incident seemed to confirm simmering fears.

“It’s unacceptable that women are sexually molested and robbed by young migrants on the streets and public squares of German cities at night,” said Andreas Scheuer, general secretary of the Christian Social Union, the Bavarian wing of Merkel’s party.

“Whoever won’t accept our rules for living together, including respect for women, can have no place in our society here in Germany,” said Scheuer.
If you have to educate an entire influx of Muslim men about how rape is wrong, you probably shouldn’t be letting them into your country.

And again, lets not forget the massive cover up of the rapes of thousands of children, boys and girls, in Britain for the sake of not being called Islamophobic.

To hell with the british infected with moslems and their women getting raped.

Look its not hard to get 500K leftist to sign a petition. Its meaningless and the government is not stupid enough to bar the entry of a leading presidential candidate.

I am quite sure if the British people had a vote on the issue they would overwhelmingly support Trump just as the American people do.

‘The issue is whether or not he will use his public position to advance his multi billion dollar global financial interests. In this instance, he intermingles both.’

Your point is a disingenuous non-sequitur. What Mr. Trump does and what President Trump does are two entirely separate issues.

If you were banned from Rhode Island, would you buy a house or apartment building there?

What? Why not? Then you are intermingling your personal interests with your standards that you expect from others.

Of course you wouldn’t...and of course Mr. Trump would not either. It’s really that simple and requires no imagined and false narratives.
