Congressman Greg Walden, the Rep for Harney County, addressing congress on the standoff. A good statement for all to hear.

For the Oregon ping list.
Calling the Ore. “representatives” to task would seem to be the way to go.
As good as the "Rep" is, where are the Ore. "Senators"?
Thank you for posting!! I wanted to but am tablet compromised.
This was an incredible and awesome speech calling the BLM to task.
I reaaly loved it.
A must see!!
Neither Merkley nor Wyden have anything on their websites addressing this issue. If they did I doubt that they’d be supportive of ranchers rights in any case.
In the video Walden mentioned that his legislation specifically called for BLM to pay for the fences to keep cattle out of protected grazing. Peter DeFazio agreed that was the case, although he didn’t agree with it. Of course, the BLM has been ignoring the letter & spirit of the law.
I must say I haven’t been too happy with Walden recently. He’s in leadership & has gone GOP-e on too many occasions. But this was an excellent statement - one I wish the media would listen to.
Successive approximations, as we say in dog training.

I lost my Oregon list when my computer crashed last year, so please send me your name by FReepmail if you want to be on this list.
Representative Walden is one of 236 Republicans who supported Paul Ryan for Speaker making him one of the 95 percent of Republicans who are not conservative.
Ryan has moved forward to spend more and drive the national debt up to over 20 trillion dollars by 2017.
That alone should speak for itself.
Republican politicians are good are saying the right thing to sucker grassroots voters in, their actions like making Ryan Speaker tell me something else.
Walden, for all his warts, is the sole Republican in the Oregon Congressional Delegation, and the only non-Democrat with significant political power in Oregon.
It does not further their agenda. They will not listen to it.
No doubt these daze.
NPS Rangers used to be the "good guys".
The BLM with Dingy's minion Neil Kornze large and in charge needs to be sheared of its powers.
Walden seems to be ON FIRE!. But is he really going to kick Paul Ryno’s butt on the issue?
Walden is on fire here. Will he actually kick some BLM butt though?
I consider all 13 of my Republican members of Congress to be RINO’s for supporting Ryan for Speaker. Ryan is bankrupting the country by jacking up the debt over 20 trillion dollars.
(I don't think he can/will do squat...)
It is a pity that Wayne Morse is dead.
