However, I think the tears were real, probably more from frustration at being on the losing end of this argument and seeing that clearly. That also explains the yelling and other demagoguery in the presser. More to the point, there isn’t much gained in trying to litigate the opposite, especially for prospective presidential nominees. Trump takes the best political tack — allowing for legitimate motivation while opposing the policies and the ideology behind it.

Trump is already trolling for Dem cross over votes in the General Election while the rest of the primary field struts about trying to prove their conservative bonafides. The difference is obvious.

Winning with what? Thats the point. All the screaming about winning and you don’t care one bit what you win with as long as you get to feel good about it. How are you different from a liberal in that regard? Because like you, they don’t care what they win with either.
What Trump is trying to say is...The tears are real....so what...The issue isn’t about tears....it’s about the rights of the people to bear arms.
However, nothing he spoke about in his entire speech except biometric locks could have even attempted to prevent Sandy Hook. And biometric locks only if the killer’s mom had only guns with such locks.

They think Trump will be as hard on politicians as they are because he's not a politician.
But Trump is a celebrity and he has some fellow feeling for celebrities.
That may be why he thought Oprah might make a good vice president.
My take is just accept that nobody in politics (or the media or the celebrity world) is going to be as hostile to elite members as we outsiders can be.

I would think after 6 months of bluster and attacks on everything from McCain’s military record, stopping new Muslims arriving, Mexico is sending is rapists and criminals, Trump should have imploded 50 times. Now it is scant 3 weeks to first primary and Trump is still the front runner.
There is something going on in the country which career politicians and media are failing to comprehend.

Trump has zero need to attack Obama because he is not running against Obama in 2016. If Trump says something nice about Hillary & Bill in the prelude to the primaries, get back to me.
