What you asked was, essentially, if Obama is eligible, why not Cruz? I explained the big differences between the two.

Yup, I know a lot of mixed American-Filipinos in the Philippines who aren’t US citizens.
There isn’t one who would refuse him citizenship from birth.
A Natural Born Citizen doesn’t even NEED the Constitution or any law to be recognized.
Cruz does NOT fit that demographic. He was NOT born within the US borders, of parents whom were both US citizens.
Now, you can go down the road Obama did to justify himself, but he will always be THE INTERLOPER. If you do go down that path, try not to confuse yourself.
If a law is needed, then they aren’t Natural Born Citizens, period.
Natural Born Citizens are citizens, by nature. No laws required.
It is something EVERYONE should worry about.
Remember that “US Citizen” held in jail by Iran as a spy?
He had dual citizenship. He was a citizen of both the US and Iran.
Iran had Every Legal Right to treat him as any other Iranian citizen.
THIS was the risk that Obama took when he assumed office, as he was NOT a Natural Born Citizen, and several nations could have treated him as one of their OWN SUBJECTS, and been *perfectly in the right* to do so.
Natural Born Citizens require no law to be citizens. NO LAW identifies Natural Born Citizens, because it would be redundant and confusing. A child born within the US, of parents whom are US citizens (no matter how that happened *just when*) is a Natural Born Child. No other nation may claim such a person as subject to THEIR LAWS.
Sure, if you no longer care about the Rule of Law, feel we should go down the same road Obama took, and just want Republicans to “get theirs”, have a go at it. Just don’t confuse yourself along the way.

Oh Puny...you get it wrong again. In September, Trump stated that Cruz’s citizenship was not an issue. Now, as Cruz continues to lead Trump in Iowa and is close in other early states, the Donald stirs up the NBC issue as a significant problem for Cruz. I think the Donald is the one feeling threatened!
Why would Cruz worry about Trump?
Trump can’t discuss the issues in detail beyond bombastic generalities. Less people in the debates will hurt him when his lack of knowledge is exposed.
