These are comments from interviews with Ammon and Ryan Bundy at the occupied headquarters building of the Malheur National Wildlife Preserve in Oregon tonight:
Ammon Bundy:
"The facility has been the tool to do all the tyranny that has been placed upon the Hammonds....We're planning on staying here for years, absolutely...This is not a decision we've made at the last minute."
Ryan Bundy:
"The best possible outcome is that the ranchers that have been kicked out of the area, that they will come back and reclaim their land, and the wildlife refuge will be shut down forever and the federal government will relinquish such control....What we're doing is not rebellious. What we're doing is in accordance with the Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land."
The Portland Oregonian/Oregon Live website reports that the group is demanding that the Hammonds be released(they are to report to jail on Monday) and the federal government relinquish control of the Malheur National Forest.
It is also reported from militia members at the site that as many as 100 supporters are there.
Who knows?
Maybe the Bundys were set up or paid off.
You would think that being under intense scrutiny, they would pay attention to their op sec and not engage in any controversial activities.
Which proves the point any way you slice it, the Feds are rotten to the core, illegitimate and hopelessly corrupt. They must be exposed and intelligently resisted at every opportunity.
Do not know what their strategy or plans are, and they would be stupid to let other people know.
If the Bundys remain cool, they could get some good PR on the issue of the Federal over-reaches and prosecutorial abuse.
It is pretty amusing to see the totalitarian left respond half cocked by calling for executions and drone strikes right off the bat. It’s the leftists that really want the hot civil war.
