He is unafraid and steadfast in his Christian beliefs and how they apply to the way America should be led…and it’s quite frankly, pissing Liberals off.
"If we awaken and energize the body of Christ- if Christians and people of faith come out and vote our values- we will win and we will turn the country around," Cruz told volunteers on a conference call Tuesday.
"We're working to have a lead pastor in each of the 99 counties in Iowa, 99 pastors are organizing other pastors," Cruz said. "We're doing the same thing in South Carolina, organizing pastors in 46 counties to motivate and organize other pastors."
Cruz warned that, as the election nears, the attacks on his campaign will become more vicious."I want to tell everyone to get ready, strap on the full armor of God, get ready for the attacks that are coming," he warned. "Come the month of January we ain't seen nothing yet."
Cruz predicts that the nomination will come by the end of the March and said that his campaign is now in a "90-day sprint to win this nomination.""There is a very good possibility that the Republican primary will be decided by the end of March," he told them.
USA needs to reverse the course we’re on, stop the corrupt liberal-rot and return to our founding fathers plan for this country. THIS is what we know! Is Cruz the man to do it?
Another Trumpbott. Most likely you are a bitter Ron Paul failure and you are setting the stage to be a Trumpette failure. This cartoon was not done by Cruz but it certainly is appropriate and successful which is the reason you’re rattling your own cage. Typical of Progressives - you have no sense of humor. Obviously, you know nothing about the life of Ted Cruz because you have your head stuck up Trump’s ass. Take a bit of time to stifle your hatred of Christianity and a Christian man, Ted Cruz, long enough to really look in the mirror to see what an idiot you are.
LGBT Issues: Presybyterian Church USA
"On Inclusion
As recently as 2010, the General Assembly agreed that the Presbyterian Church (USA), âhas no consensus in the interpretation of Scripture on issues of same-sex practice.â However, the church has also adopted policies that allow for the ordination of LGBT ministers and the celebration of same-sex marriages. Experiences may differ greatly across individual communities but many congregations are entirely welcoming and inclusive. Groups such as More Light Presbyterians are committed to âwork for the full participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people in the life, ministry and witness of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and in society.â Similarly, the Covenant Network of Presbyterians is a coalition of clergy and laity who hope to âstrengthen the church of Jesus Christ, with the help of God's grace,â and are, âcalled to achieve this goal by furthering the inclusion of LGBTQ persons, and by working for the unity of the PC(USA).â
In 1996, Erin Swenson became the first transgender minister to serve in the Presbyterian Church (USA) when members voted to continue her ministry following her transition from male to female. While the church has no official policy regarding transgender inclusion, organizations such as More Light Presbyterians are specific in advocating for transgender congregants.
On Marriage Equality
In 2014, the General Assembly passed a measure that permits ministers and sessions (local church government), âto use their own discernment to conduct same-sex marriage ceremonies where allowed by law.â In addition, the General Assembly recommended an amendment to update the description of marriage in the denominationâs Book of Order so that it would no longer exclude same-sex couples. Effective June 2015, the amendment to the Book of Order updates the description of marriage as âa unique commitment between two people, traditionally a man and a woman.â The latter was added during debate of the amendment on the floor of the General Assembly out of respect to the denominationâs more conservative members."
And there we go with the “Dominion Theology” attack from the left, as popularized by Rachel Maddow.
More angry flailing from the supporters of the liberal sleaze candidate. Backing progressives always results in bottom-feeder tactics.
“It’s either shameless pandering to the reliogious voters of Iowa or narcissism of the highest order.”
Both?
So in other words, steer clear of Cruz because he’s a committed Christian-—God wants you to support the hypocrite.
LOL
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Oswald Chambers wrote that Christians should honor God even in the mundane.
The "full armor of God" is essential in fighting the lies and distortions about him, his family, his motives, his record that are sure to grow both on sites like this and the campaign itself. Those lies emanate from the Father of Lies.
Threads like this are helpful in separating the wheat from the chaff, sheep from goats. Very instructive, this thread has been.
The Bible contains some very earthy passages. How could it not, when it is essentially addressed to a bunch of orcs?

First fail comment of the year by you
Sorry, I have to disagree with you 100%. It is a call to action using language that his target audience understands, nothing more.
As for Sen Cruz talking about his faith before his presidential run:
In 2013, he told David Brody, a host at the Christian Broadcasting Network, that politicians have âa special obligation to avoid being a Pharisee, to avoid ostentatiously wrapping yourself in your faith. Because I think in politics, itâs too easy for that to become a crutch, for that to be politically useful.â
If you would take a moment to even look, you would find that Sen Cruz has been a godly man for a long time and that is exactly what this nation needs.
I stand by it to the death.
Amen to that.
I don’t see a big problem with this. Any Christian should hope that he has Christ on his side.
After reading about this last night, a lot of people on this site hate it too.
...And a false accusation by you
God wants us to glorify HIM and use HIS words to edify and bless HIS people, use HIS word to lead folks that are lost to HIM and to influence our leaders to make the right choices that would again glorify our Father in heaven.
Do you not believe the founding fathers of America were divinely inspired to craft to most amazing document ever pieced together? They were not only militiamen, farmers, lawyers and such....but politicians. They glorified God constantly in their efforts to forge a nation devoid of tyranny against it's people.
Do you not think that satan uses political leaders to accomplish his goals? Hitler, Pol Pot, Mugabee, Stalin, Moa so on. Do you not think also that God uses political leaders to bring about freedom, justice?
No matter what we believe is right or wrong, does it not seem our leaders are consistently on the opposite side of God's holy word? Here is a scriptural quote I believe explains what is actually going on in this nation and scriptural remedy.
2 Thessalonians 2:10-13
and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
The remedy:
2 Chronicles 7:14
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Do we not have a responsibility to warn the world about the coming King of Kings from the highest position of power in the nation? That is freedom OF religion. So only evangelism is serving Messiah?
