A lovely letter from the daughter of the late great John Wayne. Our country could use a John Wayne right now.
I don’t have a problem with Trump. But John Wayne was very chummy with Hispanics (not just his wives). I’m glad Aissa is supporting him.
Trump! Trump! Trump!
Wayne did have a falling out with RR over the Canal. It got pretty heated. But they made up.
Trump is also very chummy with Hispanics, as long as they are LEGAL.
Well my guess is...
“The Duke” would not have appreciated “The Donald” calling “The Gipper” a con man!!!!!!

John Wayne also goes back a long way with Ronald Reagan. They fought communism together back in the Screen Actors Guild days back to the 1940s. So Trump is in good company here.

I remember back when I saw a John Wayne movie. I was about 9 years old and John Wayne was still alive. I said to my father "Were people really like that in the Wild West" or something like that. My father said that yes, people really were like that and are still like that today.
That was quite a bit of years ago.
I am a firm believer that you can judge a politician by the movies they like. if you ask a politician what are the top three western movies movies and he doesn’t have a john Wayne movie “he probably is a liberal and has no ability to make moral judgments.”
Now that’s an endorsement that should make people set up and pay attention...
I imagine nobody knew John Wayne and who he would back better than his daughter.
Donald Trump: ‘THE DUKE’!!!
Aissa Wayne’s mother was “Hispanic.” Her name was Pilar.
Yes, Pilar was from South America. All three of Wayne’s wives were Hispanic.
So what? Trump likes south of the border types just fine too. Nothing he has said has been even slightly racist.
Unless of course, one argues being against the orgy of illegal immigration is automatically racist.
