It is just as powerful, much shorter.
It was written five months ago. He was still under the impression that Trump would implode and of the opinion that Trump himself would not be successful, but does represent the problems that the normal people see.
Yes, he did a great job of chronologically describing the rise of and attitudes of the ruling elite, but I wish he’d offered more of a solution in the conclusion.
I know there are those here who would be offended by this characterization, but I agree entirely that this correctly identifies the great service Trump has done this nation.
It certainly seems to me that civil war is coming. If the dems steal another election I think there will be blood in the streets. When you see that Trump is polling WELL in the black and other minorities, it tells me that there is inter-party support for taking our country back.
Blacks are finally waking up to see that when Obama said fundamentally change America, it was NOT to make their lives better in any way, shape or form. They are seeing, along with the rest of us that he meant to give our country over to the Muslims without a fight. People are becoming angry with every one of his policies. There is nothing American about this man, and his visceral hatred for all but the elites is evident more every day.

I thought at the time that this was a seminal article. I’ve often thought about this article as things have unfolded this year. I thought it well worth reposting.

There might not be many good options short of razing the system. I am very concerned, though, about the class system Charles Murray describes in “Coming Apart” where you have sections of DC and NY in which outside of a Starbucks the elites don’t even come into personal contact with the “little people.”
The guy is a Trump HATER as it turns out. Kinda wrecks his arguments.
