An excellent Lord did an excellent job with this lady. One obvious salvation is worth infinite words. I’m just the messenger, don’t worship me for good news any more than you’d shoot me for bad news.
If I had anything to add it’s that, folks, this is driven from the God end of things. We can’t earn a love like this. Our only meaningful input to the picture is to say yes or no to heaven’s propositions... God certainly knows which ahead of time, and yet we ourselves do it... and oh, so sadly we are either ignorant or else we say no out of force of habit, if not worse reasons. She is a prime exhibit of what saying yes looks like, and guess what, it did not turn her into the monster that feministas feared!

And so what, they fornicated a statue.
The real fornication that matters, is the one with the devil. Think Satan sexy, and you’ve dived into hell hugging and kissing the devil. Let Jesus get you out of that, and there won’t be any questions of fornicating statues or anything else either.
That is a personal thing we may never know, but she took “confessing one’s sins one to another” to a level few ever have the courage to do.
As for me, I will take her contrition on face value. God knows the truth and I will trust He will use this for the good of His kingdom.
It’s all Jesus asks for. He has already provided the sacrifice, suffered the suffering needed to bear her past that sin without her plunging permanently into hell.

Sadly, the battle for the latter is the bigger battle, the former - a sham.

It’s difficult to imagine her behaving as she did without that. It would make no sense. Christendom did not step forward to atone for her sin. Jesus did; and yet she did oppose Christendom too and now she knows better. I think we can nitpick (certainly I can) when not all details are spelled out to our face and yet what we do see is stunningly genuine in form.
I’d say it looks like she gratefully accepted the gift of Jesus’ apology to the Father for her sins. And I do not know who could NOT weep at the sight.
It’s a package deal of evil, with the unborn one of the chief victims, but bodies lay strewn all over, some that look like they are living but they are dead souls.
The specter of apostasy sends a bone chill down the spines of liberals. It’s not just a matter of numbers. The apostates tend to be smarter and more well informed and know from the inside and in detail how liberals think and react. They make effective spokesmen for their new intellectual framework and can speak the liberals’ own language which makes them potent evangelists. Conservatives need to understand this dynamic and offer borderline liberals a welcome, step down their expressions of hatred, demonizations and anger driven rhetoric. We win by logic or we lose.
