From the article (correction is mine):
Still, the discontent on the home front for Mr. Ryan is part of ongoing tension between conservatives who want aggressive action to rein in Mr. Obama's agenda and party leaders who have taken a measured give nobama anything he wants approach.

The choice between good and evil is binary. Ryan chose the wrong way, and is therefore not on the side of good.

I agree — primary him with just ONE OPPONENT! Any other course is foolish.
I say it again!

Money and Power, of course! DC is a cesspool which corrupts immediately!

Yup both elections were won and a Republican majority was placed in both houses of congress and still we have the status quo. Nothing has changed since either election.
So, what worked so well?

No, he doesn’t. He sleeps in his office when the House is in session but is back in his district every weekend and whenever its not in session, AS IT SHOULD BE. He deliberately has not MOVED HIMSELF or HIS FAMILY to DC. He represents AND LIVES IN his district.

You people are high.
Paul Ryan did the best he could with what he had. He was sworn in on the 29th of October. The 2200 page bill was already written. He managed to get regulatory relief and tax cuts added, which are permanent. The spending increases were already baked in, and they expire next October.
What course of action should he have taken, keeping in mind that we do not have a veto proof majority?
