JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri residents soon will not be able to use their state driver's licenses as identification to get into most federal facilities, making it at least the fourth state to lose a federal exemption from complying with national proof-of-identity requirements.

Time for the States to declare the Federal Government constitutionally non-compliant.

"Donald Trump is a hero and leader for many conservatives in the Age of Obama." "The age of Obama" is the age of politically correct metrosexuals, Donald Trump doesn't fit in with them, and neither do I. 44 posted on 12/23/2015, 7:46:57 PM by DJ Taylor (Once again our country is at war, and once again the Democrats have sided with our enemy.)

Thank you... So that answers one question.

Still does NOT answer anywhere in the article as to WHY they have been ruled non-compliant.

Am I overlooking something in the article?

Do you know WHY the compliance issue exists at this point?

If we believe the 'full faith and credit' clause of the Constitution, then this could be construed as a states' rights issue.

In the past every state honored the driver's licenses of every other state. The Feds did as well.

Now the Feds are saying that they will not honor the driver's licenses of some states, i.e. they do not grant certain states 'full faith and credit'.

That’s a lot of documents just to get into a courthouse. Absurd.

Full faith and credit deals with state to state relationships. And, indeed the Federal government can throw some monkey wrenches even into that:

“Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.”

Using a state driver’s license to get onto a military base would fall under “To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces”

My driver’s license says “NOT FOR FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION” because I REFUSE to kiss the regime’s a$$. Delaware DMV will issue non-compliant licenses with this header. Funny thing, if you go to DMV site and want to know what identification is needed, click on Document Selector Guide bar. It comes back

I’ll bet the same people who designed the DeathCare website did this also.

First I’ve seen anything about this... seems kinda fishy :/

Of course, being that some states issue licenses to illegals, maybe it’s not all bad :p

It is the Real ID Act that was passed by Congress and signed by Bush. A few states have decided not to comply for various reasons.

But isn’t this requirement an attempt to keep a disproportionate percentage of blacks and browns off of planes and barred from Federal courthouses to complain about racist cops and all other forms of discrimination.?

Call out the Department of Justice to investigate this Federal abuse of power against the poor and ethnic groups by the Obama administration and...er...sorry, forgeddaboutit.

Just got my Global Entry ID last month.
Had to go to Cincinnati for the procedure.

Best part was the Homeland Security guy asking me the questions and taking my fingerprints was a Muslim.
His govt ID badge and his uniform nametag didn’t have matching spelling of his names.

I could only chuckle....

The other two employees at that location that I was able to observe were a young black woman with a huge “attitude” and an obese black guy who appeared almost comatose. That’s kind of what the fed gov looks like at the “customer service” level these days, I think.

At least the Muslim guy was sociable, even cracked a joke about his name. I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or not.

W. kept the homeland safe after 9/11. But in EVERY other respect he was a disaster. I'd grade him at a D, at best.

Surely you jest......W. was THE president for the time...his administration was severely challenged by the fact that he had to concentrate 100% on 911. Whatever dreams that he had for his legacy were severly hindered by the fact that he had to concentrate his efforts on determining what had happened and methods to insure that it was not repeated. I appreciate his administration far more than some others who had free reign to do as they wished and screwed up royally....Carter, Obama lead the list.
