Dear Muslim Republicans,
I share your outrage and hurt at Donald Trump's recent comments and policy suggestions about Muslims. I share your outrage and hurt that he still is polling well among Republicans. I share your outrage and hurt that we should even have to discuss such matters. But obviously we do.

Dear Muslim Republicans.....

“Hey Joe....I’m gonna need about 5 stamps to mail these letters out.”
I’ve actually met Black Republicans, but cannot recall ever meeting a single Muslim Republican. I suppose they exist, but it would be a pretty small subset.
Please inform me on any tenant of Islam that would be comparable with the republican party new or old?
GTH LP!
Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say “what should be the reward of such sacrifices?” Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom â go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!
Dear Republican Unicorn:
We share your outrage at Donald Trump. Join your fellow unicorns in the Libertarian party. We won’t let you be schlonged.
Dear Republican BigFoot....
Dear Republican Yeti....
Dear Republican Loch Ness......
Dear Muslims in America,
If you don’t like the laws, and have no desire to assimilate into our culture, you should move to a nation more embracing of your needs and desires. There are millions of people in this country who will not give up their liberty to make you happy.
Muslim Republicans are akin to the Log Cabin Republicans, with a few sheep thrown in.
I posted this as a supplement to an earlier thread I saw about how the Libertarians are losing supporters to Donald Trump. I don't think they're going to find enough Muslim Republicans to replace those they're losing.
mohammedanism has forfeited its freedom of religion and its right to be treated equally to other religions because it is not a true religion, and it violates natural rights. Natural rights is a universal principle of politics that limits freedom and equality.
I like the Libertarians economic ideas and agree with their theory on when the govt should interfere with private citizens. But the party has become more and more socially radicalized and more resembles the RATs with their approval of deviance.
Regardless, the dirty little secret is that most Americans want nothing to do with freedom. It’s just a buzzword. They welcome more govt with open arms. A true freedom movement has no chance.
Very small. Muslims represent approximately 0.8% of the U.S. population. Approximately 15% of Muslims are Republicans (50% are Dems, the rest are unaffiliated). So, Muslim Republicans represent approximately 0.12% of the entire population.
I have met Black Republicans, one Gay Republican.
Never met a Muslim Republican.
“Is this a pimp article to generate traffic on some blog?”
If you had bothered to actually check out the actual post, you would have seen that the post was from lp.org, the official web site for the Libertarian Party.
That’s roughly half of the actual Amish, just for perspective.
Well, they just pushed me out.
Right now I register Libertarian most of the time and flip to Republican to attend caucuses and vote in the primary upon the very rare occasions they have a candidate like Trump that I want to support.
Iâve always known that most actual, dyed-in-the-wool Libertarians are nutty as fruitcakes, but this official Libertarian Muslim-love-fest, hate-Trump-fest email takes the cake for me. Iâm gonna make my default registration Unaffiliated.
The thing about the Libertarian party is that it has a left and a right wing. When I was in Tennessee years ago and fiddling around with libertarianism, the party there was made up of a bunch of grumpy old guys who kept a copy of the constitution in their pocket. They struck me as hasically rightwing types who just were very serious about things like limited government and individual liberty. I would almost bet that the party in places like California would be full of a different sort of character — for whom libertarianism is more like an exotic form of liberalism.
