If I was running for president, I would have done as Hillary did for safety reasons. Forget it is Hillary and consider it being you and liberals hate you for running for president. If someone was in the bathroom, it could be a crazy nut liberal or terrorist wanting to get rid of you.
With someone in the bathroom, not knowing who it was, I would have taken a Secret Service man/woman with me in there.
It was an O’Malley staff person as I understand it... I understand your point. In that case they should have had a private restroom for candidates only near to the stage.
They knew who it was. A previous article said that the staffer had ‘received permission’ to use that restroom.
