The Portland woman accused of driving into dozens of people and killing one in Las Vegas may have fallen asleep at the wheel, her cousin said Monday.
Lakeisha Holloway, 24, is suspected of swerving onto a Las Vegas sidewalk Sunday evening. Based on video footage, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said it appeared that Holloway intentionally veered into pedestrians, but the family disputes that account.
Holloway works a lot and sleeps little, said her cousin, LaShay Hardaway. Taking care of her 3-year-old daughter and managing her fashion projects could have taken a toll, Hardaway said.

LOL that must have been one heck of a nap she was having, she hit a bunch of people, got off the sidewalk, drove a little more, went on the sidewalk and hit another bunch of people, drove off the sidewalk, and hit them again..Ive heard of counting sheep but this one takes the cake
I am sure that street has a lot of security cameras. If she swerved onto and off the sidewalk repeatedly like witnesses claim, it will be indefensible.
Ignore that video or you’ll get what’s coming to you!
