"Imagine your favorite Christmas story, read by the Senator who once read Green Eggs and Ham on the Senate floor," begins this cute little web ad from Sen. Ted Cruz's campaign for president, titled "Cruz Christmas Classics."
"It was the night before the shutdown, and all through the House, not a bill was stirring, eve to fund a mouse," giggles the senator from Texas.

"If you are not completely satisfied with this collection of Cruz Christmas classics, you probably hate Christmas, and America."
I guess lately anytime I catch a glimpse of SNL, it doesn’t seem funny (used to be clever and funny but they didn’t know where to draw the line). Guess my feeling is it won’t really be that good.
High quality production values....
Reinforces my belief that Cruz will do or say anything. Classic Politician !
Sitting here, laughing my a$$ off! Freaking brilliant!
Trying to copy Trump, priceless, they all hate him, yet, they all want to be him.
:}
I love it.
Well that is good ad, well done. I like Frosty the Speaker, lol.
Loved it!
How come Mama Cruz didn’t get any lines? Surely there must be some gag she can make about the New World Order, North American Union or Goldman Sachs.
Superb! Glad 2C my money making fruit! I don’t give to any poly-tick easily, but Ted is going to get a money bomb when the meat fleshes from the bone and he’s the last man standing. Finally a statesman. He may be our last.
Hilarious! Brilliant! I like the kids’ lines, especially.
I love it! The video is really charming and the biting satire fits perfectly with the SNL venue. Ted’s daughters, Caroline and Catherine, look so natural in the setting because Ted reads to them often in real life. The Cruz campaign team is incredibly smart and use their funding wisely.
Hmmmm... He did this in 2016? Guess I must've overslept. Lemme see, what day is it again??
He can play the Al Lewis role...he has an uncanny resemblance..lol
Don't get me wrong..I love the guy, but he does look like Al lewis :-)
That is great!
That’s brilliant. If ol’ Ted keeps this up, he’ll start being seen as likable and electable.
