What started as a seemingly mild admiration between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin took an uncomfortable turn Friday when the GOP White House hopeful seemed to defend the Russian presidentâs strong-arm tactics â and dismiss his alleged killing of journalists and others who cross him.

Before anyone tries to claim some kind of moral superiority here, you don’t think the U.S. Government has killed journalists right here in the good ol’ USA?
Two names for your consideration:
Andrew Breitbart
Michael Hastings
And those two are very likely the tip of the iceberg, courtesy of our federal fascists in Washington.
Let’s not kid ourselves.
Almost...
At least Putin has the class to not decorate Fort Gramercy Park with his leavings.
Rootin for Putin and the Trumpster.
admiration by Putin should be taken as very high praise
conversely, lack of praise or admiration for Obama is de facto expression of contempt
Putin wants and needs a worthy opponent for verbal battles on the world stage
Obama and all the Euro’s are pussies
The fact that Hillary is still a public figure is hard to fathom. The system is so corrupt only a Trump can save it IMO.
Seriously? There is a list from here to the moon of Russian journalists who have mysteriously vanished or were found to have been murdered.
I actually heard the full interview on tv this morning, and if anything, it made me all the more supportive of Trump (although I still don’t discount Cruz).
As long as Putin is standing up against homo-fascists, the global-warming pinheads, and bombing ISIS, he’s leagues preferable to the loathesome, pajama-boy scum that we have leading America. Our leaders and our culture are pushing poison onto the world with our faggoty degeneracy.
What a bunch of liars posting anti-Trump stuff.
Here is the actual clip: the answer is given in less than a minute.

This post isn’t for you, you have your mind made up and Trumps actual words will fall on your deaf ears.
There may be others who are serious about finding the truth of what was said.
The difference between the cases is that, when Breitbart and Hastings died, FReepers didn’t rush here to post that it’s ok because Putin does it. So why does Putin get the pass?
Ok, give me some links.
“Trump stands zero chance of getting elected”
Well many said that exact same thing about the nomination so....who knows?
"If we want to actually dismantle ISIS, we need to dramatically change course. We need a real, robust campaign that maximizes our overwhelming air advantage.
We need to focus our efforts not on trying to create friends, but on supporting our real ones, especially the Kurds in Iraq and Syria who have actually had success against ISIS."

"We can redouble our efforts to develop the defensive weapons that neutralized the offensive Soviet threat -- particularly missile defense, which has seen a 25% budget reduction under Obama, according to an analysis from the conservative Heritage Foundation, and has been constrained by bad arms deals like New START.
We should not only move quickly to install the canceled interceptor sites Putin opposed in Poland and the Czech Republic, but also to develop the next generation of systems that will only increase his discomfiture.
These options do not entail a ground war in Syria, yet would effectively shake us free from the failed policies that have brought us to our current impasse.
These options set us on a new path that puts Putin on notice that the United States is reclaiming our traditional role as leader of the free world."

"I think it would be a mistake to get involved in the Syrian civil war. There have been voices in Washington eager for us to send our sons and daughters over to fight that civil war for some time. I haven't been one of them. I think the touchstone of U.S. military policy should be protecting the national security of this country."
"What we're seeing Putin in Russia do is a direct response to the profound weakness of Obama over six and a half years.
Putin views Obama as weak, as ineffective, and frankly, as a laughingstock. And, as a result, he is moving in, he is invading his neighbors, like Ukraine, he's kidnapping Estonians, and he's moving into Syria to gain a stronger foothold in the Middle East."

Ted Cruz:
"We need a coherent plan to address both the specific crisis in Syria and the challenge posed more broadly by Putin's resurgent Russia.
The good news is that America still has options, if our leaders can summon the will to exercise them.
For starters, in Syria we can't double down on the failed strategies that have given Putin his opportunity to intervene.
We are now two years out from President Obama's proposed intervention after al-Assad used chemical weapons against his own people. ..."

Well, we must respect other cultures and their ways of doing things.
exactly.
All of this is designed and he gets away with it all the time. Him , Jarett and co must be laughing at how they have destroyed this country and are now looking to get as many third world immigrants in here in the next year.
“He posted a news story that, if true, should make all Trump supporters think twice. But I am sure it wonât even if the story reflects exactly what Trump said.”
Do you remember what George W. Bush said about Putin after he looked into his eyes? Now, calm down, and un-wad your panties.
More people are going to die because of THAT ACTION than Putin's actions.
How many vets are dead because of Obama's VA mismanagement? OBAMACARE, anyone?
It’s hero worship.
Weak minds need a hero
You’re falling for the leftist bait.
Why should trump denounce Putin?
Putin paid Tump a compliment and he is to reply with insults?
This is not an issue.
lol! No really! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!
