Donald Trump, a candidate even Republicans once considered a side show, increases his lead yet again in the nomination race, according to the latest Fox News national poll.
The poll also finds Ted Cruz ticking up, Marco Rubio slipping, and Ben Carson dropping.
Trump hits a high of 39 percent among Republican primary voters, up from 28 percent a month ago. The increase comes mainly from men, white evangelical Christians, and voters without a college degree -- and at the expense of Carson. ...
The favorites among white evangelical Christians are Trump (39 percent), Cruz (26 percent) and Carson (12 percent). Since last month, Trump is up 14 points among this group, Cruz is up 8 and Carson is down 12.

Lol, you seem to be repeating yourself a LOT, on Trump doing great polling, 2DV.
Do you ask the same question on the CRuz ‘soaring’ thread?
That’s how ALL Trump supporters are; his support is wide, deep, and unmovable.
Horsehocky. The caucuses have been extremely accurate in predicted the statewide electorate.
Getting back to our original discussion....still waiting on those “lots of polls” showing Trump leading the beast nationally.
I seem to be striking a nerve with my simple question.
My oh my what a wonderful day...:)
LOOK HERE!
His rise is certainly at the expense of other weaker candidates.
I like Cruz but thought his 'I don't intend to' comment on immigration was lawyer/political talk that makes me weary of getting stabbed in the back again.
Pollsters have absolutely no clue on turnout projections for both the primary and general elections. I would not underestimate the non establishment turnout whether from the right or left. ie...Sanders may out perform in the Dem primaries and the trio of Cruz, Trump ans Carson are almost a cinch to generate passion and once in a lifetime turnout support. Without massive fraud Clinton will be crushed by any of the 3 non establishment candidates IMO.
The increase comes mainly from men, white evangelical Christians, and voters without a college degree.
AND
...voters with a college degree, voters with graduate degrees, independents, registered democrats and huge portions of the black and latino communities.
I wonder if Megyn Kelly will mention this Fox poll on her show. If she does it will be anything negative about Trump.
Steve Hayes showed an extreme prejudice against Trump on tonight’s Brett Baier. I was really surprised.
I still want to see a republican / democrat debate long before nominees are selected. If somehow, people that won’t be on the democrats’ payroll are selected to moderate the debate, and actually ask tough questions, it would show the rest of the country just how bad the democrats’ ideas are.
“Whenâs the national primary?”
Around the same time Cruz fesses up on amnesty.
(Maybe you’ll like this answer better)
:)
Trump is unstoppable! He is the only one not afraid to speak the truth.
First of all I never said “recent” or “within the last 2 weeks”, you guys did. Nor does the fact that I don’t have links disprove that I heard about them on the news. But let’s say for the sake of argument that Hillary has a lead of a few points now. There’s a huge difference between closing a few percentage point lead in 11 months, vs. closing a 21% lead in 2 1/2 months.
Moreover Cruz is behind Hillary in those polls also.
How about waiting until you’ve been here a year before you criticize a true conservative like Ted Cruz?
Did I touch a nerve?
Do they still buy you guys Uno pizza and Zima?
Lets see if Bernie finds some testosterone and fights Hellary in the short term post this DNC flareup. Could be sort of an Operation Chaos within the DemRat race. If so Trump and Cruz can restrict their firepower against Hellary if she’s taking on flak from within.
That is adorable. Those kids sure like their Dad and Grandpa!
