A strong statement from Sen. Cruz who voted against the bill:
What weâve seen in Congress today is profoundly disappointing. This spending bill does not honor the promises we made to the men and women who elected us. It funds Obamacare. It funds Planned Parenthood. It funds executive amnesty. It fails to protect our national security and stop Syrian refugees from coming to this country. It fails to do anything to stop the Iranian Nuclear Deal. And what does it do? It jacks up yet more low-skilled immigration, which will only drag down wages, kill American jobs, and hurt working men and women.
This bill is the big-government agenda of Democrats that effectively forfeits our massive Republican victories of 2014 and cements Obamaâs priorities for nearly the full remainder of his term. This is the Washington Cartel in action, and itâs precisely why the American people from coast-to-coast are so volcanically frustrated.
Rubio skipped out on the vote! You’re done Rubio!
As if he had any real chance going in. All he’s still in the race for is ego, and of course MONEY.
This is why it is crucial to elect Trump and/or Cruz and also keep a Republican majority.
Ryan will be ousted under Trump or Cruz.
We are moving closer.
These Uniparty cartel moves make it all clearer and will strengthen our argument which I think a majority can now see.
Next vice-president nicely coordinated with our next president Trump’s comments.
TED CRUZ AMERICAN HERO!!!!
WOW
Yet DC is a big ole mess.
Ryan lasted what, 10 seconds?
I am so done with this uniparty. I am still backing Ted Cruz.
A president Cruz would know how not to be taken in by the smooth talking liars in DC. No need for on the job training!
Let the spending begin!
They get the money and we get coal! YAAAYYY! /s
Color Rubio DONE. Massive mistake on his part.

Awaiting the arrival of the strange crew of anti-Cruz jihadists to come and state that even though Ted Cruz voted against this monstrosity...he was really for it.
The entire congress and senate are scared to death of being called, “racist” if they were to vote down anything that Obemba wants.
They may be looking forward to next year’s election but I happen to think that they are simply spineless and/or are co-conspirators with the devil, Obemba.
See how quickly Congress can pass legislation when they want to.
As I said in another thread...
Does anyone doubt for one second that when President Cruz vetoes his first budget, HE will get blamed for shutting down the government? The blame won’t fall on the Democrat/GOPe Congress which passed a budget he vowed to veto. No, they will be let off the hook. HE will be blamed for the shutdown. Yet, if the Republicans passed a budget that Obama promised to veto, THEY would get blamed for shutting down the government when he ultimately vetoed it.
This is seriously so infuriating.
Pretty soon, the Establishment and the Trumpkins will be claiming that this proves he supported it. I’m sure Brit Hume is preparing that report right now.
Cruz to the White House in 2016!
“A president Cruz would know how not to be taken in by the smooth talking liars in DC. No need for on the job training!”
BUT! BUT! BUT! Trump is a DEAL MAKER.
He’s the only one that is ready from day one to make deals with democrats so we can get more deals like this.
Oh wait.
I wonder how many people know Cruz SUPPORTED the Asian trade deal (TPP) until about a week before it was voted on (and passed)....I called Cruz’s office myself, and got his “reasoning” for supporting it before he changed his mind.
