"Jeff Sessions vigorously defended the Texan. "It was a very decisive, historic vote, and Cruz was a valuable and articulate opponent, and Marco was an articulate proponent," the Alabama senator said.â

One can now see-- when rubber hits the road-- some real strong, respected conservatives are at the ready to rally around Ted --- it will be timed.

Excellent, glad to see Sen. Lee come to Cruz’s defense as well.

It’s good to know there are still a few (very few) principled men left!

I’ll believe Sen. Jeff Sessios over Rubio any time. Rubio is as slick as Billy Jeff Clinton was, and that is not a compliment.

I’m curious.
Does anyone know if there is a Senate Rule that says you must vote yes for any amendment that you offer up for consideration.
I’m betting YES but I really don’t know.

Good to see both Senators Mike Lee & Jeff Sessions standing up and correcting the errors put out there by Senator Rubio. Rubio’s shown of what sort of stuff he’s made.

I’m for Trump, but I don’t buy that Cruz was for amnesty. I get how politics is played. But he really shoots himself in the foot when he answers questions with lawyer-speak like “I have no intention of voting for it”. Maybe using weasel-words is just a habit of being a lawyer.

Let me get this right .... Rubio joined with Schumer, Durbin, McCain, Menendez and Lindsey Graham
While Ted Cruz stood his ground joined by Mike Lee, and Jeff Sessions and there is a question of who to trust. What the hell kind of media driven world is this?

Some lying, smearing anti-Cruz posters are going to be quite wee-weed up. Two stalwart conservative senators backing up Cruz on what happened at that time.
Does this mean Rush and Levin will have more people under the bus?
The wheels of the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round.
The wheels of the bus go round and round, tralalalala.
