The plans of the next president are personal to the officers of the Pentagon, who are threatening to quit if The Donald becomes commander-in-chief.
Republican presidential candidate and business mogul Donald Trump has repeatedly vowed to build up the U.S. military if elected president.
But it is not clear he will have the experienced commanders within the ranks to do it.
In the halls of the Pentagon, there is a different plan afoot for the Trump presidency. Here, officers are privately contemplating what they would do should Trump become their commander-in-chief. And more often than not, they proclaim they will leave.

Think about it, those who are threating to quit are more than likely the ones who favor odumbo’s policies anyway. They obviously “dodged the bullet” when odumbo went about purging the GOOD officers.
There may be a few who would quit but I doubt there would be a mass exodus. Think too, about the potential for promotions once the chicken-shit “cowards” have left the coop.
We all make choices in life.
Some choose wisely, some do not.
If what is reported is true, then I believe these officers have chosen unwisely.

For the past seven years they have dealt with a Commander in Chief who disrespected and disdained to even use this powerful weapon to its best potential.
They have worked hard to preserve their effectiveness, and do not want to now be misused by another idiot.
You're not going to find many field officers who served in Iraq or Afghanistan with any love for this clown.
This is complete BS. How many of them? What percent? Just rumour mongering, total BS, the Daily Beast hates Trump, so I find this not believable. And just for the record, I am not a huge fan of Trumps, but I call BS when I see it.
Think about who has been in power for the last eight years.

Imagine what sort of a person you would have to be to get a third or fourth star from Obama.
Trump may have to reach down to O5 to staff the Pentagon, and that might be a good thing.
