The time has come for desperate measures against the Oligarchy.
Mitch McConnell is safely ensconced in the Senate Majority Leader position, for the Establishment and its donors went all out in 2014 to protect him.
And we know the Establishment and its donors will do the same to protect Paul Ryan. They will work to destroy anybody to dares to run against him in a primary. And then they will just say "too bad, republicans, it's Ryan or the democrat."
Therefore, the conservatives in Paul Ryan's district can do the nation a service by voting against him in November of next year, and not just by withholding their votes, but by actively voting for the democrat.
Even if not defeated, Paul Ryan will be significantly weakened in his position, prompting others to rise up and run for speaker in January, 2017.
We must do all we can, and only the conservatives in Paul Ryan’s district can do it.
And before I am accused of being a shill for the democrats, I ask that you think about all the Establishment donors who said that if Trump or Cruz is the Republican nominee, that they will vote for Hillary.
I’m all for it. One more democrat won’t matter one way or another. Get rid of him.
But, I don't fault Ryan. I'm not surprised at all. I think the republican congressmen, and the conservatives included, knew what they were getting, but they voted for him anyway because, quite frankly, only a few representatives, including conservatives really care about doing the right thing. They are there in DC, enriching themselves and to hell with anything else.
No conservatives wanted the job, so Ryan was the man by default. The lack of leadership is quite striking. No one really wants to do the hard job...it is much easier to go along and so they do.
But we are poorly served and are ruining the country in the process.
I don't think a new president, even a Trump or a Cruz can change the culture in Washington. Those pubbies will rebel like crazy if discipline of any kind is attempted by either a new president or anyone else.
So no, I don't blame Ryan. He is a product of the republican culture on the Hill and conservatives aren't doing a thing about it. Hardly a peep.
I thought that was supposed to be the result of Cantor losing. But it did not change a thing. This goes much much deeper than one person and it will take much much more than one person losing to change the culture.

It is 10 times easier to defeat someone in the primaries because so few people vote.
FREEPERS ALONE could control this country if we *ALL* voted in primaries.
Only 10% of people who normally vote will vote in primaries. Many local candidates win only with their staff and family voting for them. I am talking about single digit vote totals to win..
