The head of the Democratic National Committee is encouraging party members in Congress to invite Muslim-Americans to President Obama's State of the Union next month as a rebuke to Donald Trump.
And no, based on Politico's reporting, they don't specifically say it's a rebuke to Trump himself, but it's pretty strongly implied in some of the language they use.
DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Congressman Keith Ellison (one of two Muslims in Congress) wrote a joint letter to House Democrats saying that inviting Muslims to the State of the Union sends a message that "we will not be intimidated by fear into discrimination."

Muslims are well versed in discrimination without help from us. While they scream about imagined discrimination of their and their children's not being afforded foot baths and rooms in which to bow 5x/day to Mecca (where no Christian may set foot, lest they be killed on sight) they crucify and slaughter Christians as a matter of course.
Predictably Debbie has to muse that it would take fear and intimidation for Muslims to practice discrimination, while they have never shown they needed any provocation whatsoever.

Yeah, and in another post Miss Mayonnaise Hair 2015 has put in a bill in the House to give the RATs $20 million in taxpayer funds so they can have the RAT Convention next year. She claims that the RAT Party is broke, so she’s looking to the taxpayers for “fairness” in light of their empty bank account.
Yeah, that’s the kind of optics the DNC wants going into an election...SotU speech...galleries full of muslims...and everybody knows who brought them. The Trump campaign thanks you from the bottom of their hearts for an early Christmas gift.
Oh no, they won’t risk showing the real Islam. Their token Muslims will be doctors, researchers all dressed in suits. Their female Muslims will be dressed in regular everyday American style except for a beautifully designed head scarf. One could only hope that in the DEMS rush to pimp some Muslims at their convention, they forget to put them through security and ........oops their guests have decided to wear their more traditional garb, suicide vests.

Then, maybe they or some of their "friends" can phone in, text or email something along the lines of those received by the LA schools today, so everything can be cancelled!!!
Really cool idea! Maybe Obama can show how truly great he is to refuse to be frightened by the whole thing and do his show from the sanctity of the White House, so we at home don't miss out. After all, these are his people and he knows whether they are serious or just "funning' us!"
