The author has his timeline all wrong. If Jesus was around today Mohammad would not be born for another 700 years. There would be no Muslims and the world would be a much more peaceful place.

and hanging around with prostitutes and fanatics,
The author is really got the sides wrong. The Muslims don't hang around with prostitutes and fanatics, they hang them, period.

What does the H. stand for other than a blaspheme shouted by those of limited verbal skills looking for something to express shock and disapproval?
Also, why do atheists use such phrases? They might as well be shouting “banana pudding” since they don’t even believe Jesus existed.

I don’t think these people read the Bible very often. A precursor to Mohammed? There were no non-Jewish prophets, and there were none after Jesus, being no longer needed. Rejecting money and the ruling class? (sounds like a socialist.) Where is that written? Unkempt, ranting, hanging out with prostitutes and fanatics? He preached to sinners, and he didn’t cohort with fanatics unless you consider all religious people “fanatics”.

No, not that one â not the soft-focus, pale hippie Jesus of timid Christian fantasy. This one: the ârealâ Jesus, by way of this (now-famous) reconstruction, circa 2002, by Richard Neave, a professional (retired) medical artist from the University of Manchester, using all his available skill, forensic technology and, well, common sense. Anti-Christian bigots who love the muslims sure seem to be all over themselves trumpeting this image (FROM 2002!) as some kind of current news story. Oh, it is Christmas time. Time to tear down Western belief in Jesus again.

Why would Jesus be ‘unkempt’? Just because you have a beard does not mean you are okay to ignore proper grooming. There was a lot of foot washing in the Bible.
Hippies think they were going back to natures when actually they were just lazy dopers.

Itâs a little cruel, I realize. After all, jokes abound about what Jesus âwould have wantedâ or âwould doâ regarding everything from gun control to warmongering, sexism to the Catholic churchâs billions, with most sad punchlines centering around the fact that thereâs almost nothing about modern Christianity that Jesus would have ever abided. On the otherhand, the warlord Mohammed would be pleased to see all of the beheading, enslavement, and conquering done in his name.

Consider the source:
Morford gained publicity for his column "Is Obama an Enlightened Being?", published in June 2008 about then-presidential candidate Barack Obama, in which he wrote, "Many spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment.."[2] The column, and specifically the term "Lightworker", have been mocked in publications including National Review,[3] The American Spectator[4] and SF Weekly.
Morford's writing has appeared in other publications, including Mother Jones, Sun Magazine, Bark and Yoga Journal. He also blogs for the Huffington Post.

In America, fear and make-believe regularly dethrone truth. Furiously clenched myths (patriarchy, military might, institutions, corporations, god) are working harder than ever to stifle reality Um, Feminazis have been out to smash the patriarchy (and in the process the American family unit) for 50 years.
Institutions of academia and government have become centers of liberalism and lies run by the same bomb throwing radicals of the 1960s and 1970s (the Weather Underground were established in October-November of 1969).
Corporations have gone liberal with big pushes for the norming of homosexuality and scaremongering with global climate change myths and hysteria (man's original sin is now industry and the generation of wealth).
Liberals' god is Karl Marx with a soft spot for a fantasized version of Charles Darwin thrown in for good measure.

If Jesus were walking as a man among us now He would be dressed in Wal Mart clothes and look no different from everyone else. Jesus was not a sartorial anachronist in his own time and would not be now. His physical characteristics would be no more anomalous in this society than they were in first century Judea. He would not be a hippie. He might have a youthful background in body and fender work.

Jesus was pretty main stream for his time. He Joseph was a carpenter and well off for his time. Jesus was well educated and didn’t dress extreme for his time. If he were around now now he would probably use mass and social media to get his message across.

Yeah, cuz Jesus would be walking around with a diaper wrapped around his head telling us to either believe in Him or be tortured to death.
Specious moral equivalency argument. Theologically and rationally unsound.
