Greg Gutfeld on Trump criticisms of Cruz (Video)
First Gutfeld points out that what everyone else is ignoring is the attack by Trump on Cruz’s background, by saying not a lot of evangelicals come from Cuba. Gutfeld says Trump keeps stepping into race/ethnicity criticism and that he just needs to let that race stuff go. It doesn’t do anything but make everyone shudder.
In light of that, Gutfeld recommends more substantive ways for Trump to go after Cruz, saying Trump’s always been strong on security and he can go after Cruz on his opposition to the NSA bulk data collection.
But Cruz, he says, can go after Trump on ethanol, saying there’s nothing more anti-establishment and gutsy than for Cruz to go into Iowa and be against federal subsidies for ethanol. And as Gutfeld points out, if Trump or anyone else is for a federal subsidy for ethanol, then that’s about as establishment as it gets.
That cruz is from Cuba and not a lot of evangelicals are from Cuba which he considered strange. Cruz is a maniac with the wrong temperment to be preisdent because you can’t go into congress screaming and calling people liars. That Cruz is anti-Iowa because he’s anti-ethanol subsidy.
LOL I bet a whole lot of people remember that and think that re: Cruz.
Message, Cruz is Cuban, he’s a maniac, he’s anti Iowa. So Cruz has to deal with that perception in people’s minds.
Sort of like Jeb has no energy, Carson is pathological, Carly has a strange persona, Rubio drinks a lot, Hillary’s health must be a problem.
That’s not exactly what Trump said of course, but that’s what people heard.
I find them all annoying. And Juan is unbelievably annoying. I watch that prairie cooking lady show at that hour. I watch about one and a half hours of news a day (except weekends where I don’t watch it at all). And prefer to get my news here.
