Sam's Club CEO Rosalind Brewer is being accused of discriminating against white men following a CNN interview where she discussed the importance of workforce diversity.
Brewer was asked by the interviewer how she promotes diversity within her company.
"It has to start with top leadership," Brewer said. "My executive team is very diverse and I make that a priority. I demand it within my team."

Affirmative action and diversity for the sake of diversity = race to the bottom.

What she said is perfectly legal and EXPECTED these days. Sad but true.
And if Sam still ran the place I doubt very seriously he’d say anything negative about the practice.
Regardless of your intelligence, effort or knowledge, you will not advance or even be hired if you’re white. Somehow, it reminds me of Jim Crow with a different ethnic group. It’s retribution, plain and simple.
Are some people surprised by this comment? What she said is mainstream policy for most corporations in the U.S. Doesn't make it right but I guess you could call it "normal" by today's standards and not unusual.

today we met with a supplier and the entire other side of the table was all Caucasian males,â she told Harlow who asked her what she said to them.
âI decided not to talk about it directly with his folks in the room because there were actually no female, like, levels down,â she said. âIâm gonna place a call to him.â
She also said she uses her position to ânudge,â Samâs Clubs partners and suppliers to hire more minorities and women for the top spots.

I have noticed that blacks who get management jobs because of affirmative action are also very big on nepotism. Since talent, intelligence, and experience don’t count; why not put your dumb relatives in do nothing salaried positions.
