I’m a maniac for Cruz.
ditto
I think America needs both....on the same ticket!
Congress desperately needs a bully to shove them around, kick asses, take names and give the cold shoulder to the leftist media.
Trump needs Cruz to make certain that what’s necessary needs to be done.
Trump is right, Cruz grows on people, but the dislike is there.
Look. I think we all can agree, that the people in Washington now and the ones going to Washington like the power, they like the gridlock and all the waste, all the subsidies. Like Trump says they’re there to get reelected.
Cruz and Trump are on the other side. They want to shake things up, they want to undo the years of ineptness.
The media, sees the two together as capable of doing that.
I think Cruz is a bit young and needs an apprenticeship with Trump, he can win next time. The time for now is Trump.
Trump sounds like C3PO, “ ...and I don’t like you either.”
All Trump did is reflect back the “judgment” accusation that Cruz made against him.
The potential problem for Cruz is that he chose to criticize Trump with something that Cruz himself is vulnerable on.
Is it true that Cruz tried to weasel away from his statements only to have them produced?
Except that Trump goes full McConnell on ethanol....placing him right in the Washington corruption mainstream.
Not going to happen.
Congress desperately needs a bully to shove them around, kick asses, take names and give the cold shoulder to the leftist media.
Great idea assuming you don't need Congress to accomplish anything you want to do.
The same can be said of Trump.
I see it as something else. Trump's campaign is all about telling it like it is and making all US citizens part of the discussion. That's why it's huge rallies instead of closed door meetings.
Cruz made his statements behind closed doors to deep pocket donors. It was arrogant to think that secret meetings can be kept secret any more. And it was sneaky and old-school politics to discuss any sort of strategy with those donors. It implies an obligation to reward them for their loyalty. That maneuver played into the suspicions a lot of us have had (particularly since the first TPA vote) that Cruz is really part of the game.
I question the word "outrageous" in this sentence. Maybe Cruz is too much of a statesman to blindly criticize Trump. There are zero "outrageous" statements by Trump; only what the media wants you to think about what he says.
Trump's statements reflect the concerns of the majority of Americans.
Has Cruz worked any sort of magic with Congress so far? If not why not? If he has, what was it that he's done? What would change if Cruz were president?
We need Cruz on the Supreme Court.
Congress doesn’t need a “bully”, it needs an ass-kicker, and those are not the same thing.
I like Cruz. I’m a Trump supporter because I cannot imagine Cruz being elected President. But I agree with Trump that Cruz’s ineffectiveness as a legislator (which is very dramatic) is not a sign of future success in the realm of electoral politics.
Cruz is unrealistic....take away all subsidies on all forms of energy. Yeh...like that will happen.
There’s that, too—and it’s a fair take on Cruz. He is slippery, such as with refusing to say what he’d do with the 30 million illegals in the country presently.
After all, his Goldman Sachs-partner chief fundraiser has raised big money from big donors.
Trump says what he thinks ....out front!
Cruz said disparaging words about Trump behind Trump’s back, and that rankled.
Cruz has lost Trump’s respect and trust, IMO.
Right there. I'm not playing those games. We need them both for the next 16 years in DC to undo the immensity of the damage inflicted by the leftist uniparty.
