France just displayed how a candidate like Donald Trump could lose.
Last Sunday, it looked like Marine Le Pen's National Front, a far-right party known for its anti-immigrant rhetoric and stance against the EU, might make an unprecedented leap to power.
In the first round of key regional elections, the party looked like it could take power in six of France's 13 regions.

I was gonna say at the beginning of the last Business Insider "article" I posted (where DT rightfully smacks down Hillary) that BI is just another GOPe mouthpiece. Which is why their articles are all over liberal leftist Yahoo.
FYI - besides, gotta get ahead of tomorrow's TDS article(s) which is (are) no doubt coming, LOL.

No doubt the jihadis will strike again there. And here, too.
Unless, of course, one believes the lying politicians in both countries. But doubt will give way to reality.

Someone should tell the so-called Business ‘Insider’ that America is NOT France. Far from it.

In many of those French districts, the Socialists pulled out, so the lefties voted for Sarkozy’s party. That’s what defeated Le Pen.
The dims did similar electoral manipulation here in VA by backing a libertarian, so the conservative vote was split.

Well, we elected someone named Hussein not that long after 9/11.
They also will re-react. It’s western human nature. Take a beating and then right away go far towards revenge. Then in a few days or maybe a week or 2, all’s forgotten.

Well, I backed off calling BI a GOPe-tool at the first post of my last article - did do it near the end.
So, a bit of fun to smack them around, this go around. And show they’ve gone right back to their roots.
Yeah, that poster will have to find a different article, LOL.

Won’t happen here. Neither party would withdraw even if they thought it was for the good of the country.

It appears that the French socialists went to school on the Republican establishment and the game they played in Mississippi.

So the leftists backed the center right to defeat the conservative.
I guess Sanders will be endorsing Cruz soon...

I think they should change their name to “GOPe Insider”.
Then they can do a calendar special edition starring Jebby “Tippy Toes” Bush and Karl “Tokyo Hey-is-the-buffet-closed? Rove”

Especially given that we don’t have regional elections or runoffs as such for President. Of course, their hatred and paranoia of Trump has rendered them blind to things like “facts.”
To: TigerClaws
I would call it more left-center-left but I too, read what you read in the article.
Of course, the writer probably thinks Hillary and Jeb are “center”.

The FN was beaten -- just barely, by the Socialist Party dropping out of some races and urging supporters to vote for the candidates of the former UMP. IOW, the writer of this screed has their head up their asses.
