Hispanic activists vow to flood voter rolls with 1 million immigrants, punish Trump, GOP at polls

Immigrant rights activists have vowed to sign up 1 million immigrants — mostly Mexicans — for citizenship and then quickly register them to vote in time to punish Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans at the polls in November for their harsh rhetoric.

The advocates say the new voters could make a difference in the presidential race, where most of the Republican field has tacked to the right in word and policy, and in key Senate races in Illinois and Florida, where Republicans will be reaching to hang on to critical seats.

That’s the long-term plan. Why do you think the dumocrats want to flood the country with immigrants that will eventually vote Dum.

The voting law should be changed. A person should be a citizen for at least 15 years before being able to vote. Immigrants need to live the American experience. That’s my opinion.

I was born here, and I had to wait 21 years before I could vote, now you can vote after 18 yrs. why should they be any better than us :)

The number of electoral votes is based on the number of House districts.
The number of House districts is based on the last census.
The census counts the number of “inhabitants” (not the # of citizens).
The illegals are already (over)represented in the House,
without having to be granted a direct vote.

Hello, For citizenship, one has to go through background check and good behavior, it means no DUI, DWI, domestic violence, paying tax, child support etc etc. If they had not applied on their own, it may not happen.
