The mandate still exists. As a practical matter,there is no difference to the consumer.

There is a big difference between a mandate and a subsidy. Since we import about 35% of the oil we use a mandate (105) help reduce imports of foreign oil. Plus the priced paid for ethanol is set by the market. Subsidies are tax payer funded.

I am not a big fan of ethanol, if the mandate goes to 15% I'm screwed. I can live with 10% but no higher!
