"[Trump is the Republican Biden!] That is the stupidest thing I've ever read. I've seen immature comments by liberals on Trump that made more sense."

That actually is a good comparison - Biden speaks without thinking through what he is about to say and neither does Trump. The comment was not abut their politics, but about their speaking habits.

Biden destroyed Ryan in the VP debate. Don’t underestimate Biden as a politician. He may be the Dems choice if Hillary is indicted or at the very least, the FBI recommends to DOJ that she be charged. The chances of that happening may be remote, but the possibility does exist. The integrity of the FBI is at stake. I have no doubt that DOJ is partisan and will not pursue the FBI findings.

Trump knows exactly what he is saying. He says it in common, nonPC, nonlecturing terms so it appears off the cuff. But it is planned and calculated.

Read any of his books - his speaking style is part of the plan.

His Muslim moratorium came right after Obama’s weak speech. He has set himself up as the counter to a president weak on national security, which the democrat candidate will just continue.

“Biden speaks without thinking through what he is about to say and neither does Trump.”

I think this a common way that people underestimate Trump. If this were true, I don’t see how he could manipulate the press so easily to get into the headlines almost every day. He has to have thought out what his new “outrage” du jour is going to be. Look at his speeches, he says similar things for each speech, but he varies them up just enough to ensure that he’s the center of a big press story the next day. That takes real perceptiveness; he couldn’t successfully do this over and over almost without fail for every speech, if he really weren’t thinking through what will get him more headlines.

I think Trump is a master tactician. That’s why he’s on top still after continual predictions of his inevitable downfall. Read The Art of the Deal. What he does is pretty deliberate, if you ask me. He knows how to play the game. He seems to understand what will appeal to Republican voters and how to manipulate the media into spreading his ideas for free to that public. If he acted and spoke like a typical politician, he’d be nowhere now compared to where he is. This is one reason I have greater faith in his ability to win the general election with a hostile media than any other of the candidates.

Donald Trump quotes...

http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/08/the-absolute-trumpest-121328

9. “I have black guys counting my money... I hate it. The only guys I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes all day.” (USA Today, May 20, 1991)

36. Women: “You have to treat ‘em like s—t.” (New York magazine, Nov. 9, 1992)

61. “It’s very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it.” ( Fortune, April 3, 2000)

Trump——Biden...pretty good comparison.

Thanks, Marcella. You’re right. Leaders are not clowns. Their spoken words have great consequences. Trump’s supporters, like Obama’s, seem incapable of facing truths about their cult leader. And one would think that the consequences of putting an amateur in the White House might have already been proven a very bad idea. Yet we have folks that think “our amateur” is the answer.
