Former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge said Wednesday that Donald Trump is an "embarrassment" to the Republican Party and the country.
At a Manchester, New Hampshire campaign event for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Ridge dismissed Trump as a serious presidential contender.
"I think Donald Trump is about celebrities, he's about publicity, he's not about bringing a serious mindset toward trying to address the wide range of security challenges in this country," he said.
Ridge, who supports Bush for president, said he would never vote for Trump.

Gee Tom, is it time to panic? Bagpipes we raise the Trump paranoia level to pink and break out the duct tape?

The American people have finally figured out that youâre full of sh*t and weâre not buying your crap anymore.I think we've neared the point where the average American is starting to check things out for him/herself. They were originally mollified by Dubya, Ridge, and company that we weren't really at war with "Islam".
Fast forward 14 years, and dozens more terrorist attacks, and "Islam is a religion of peace" just isn't flying anymore. Then Trump offers a plan to temporarily suspend Muslim immigration, and the average American says, "sounds reasonable to me", while the media and political elites go bat$hit crazy, and making references to Hitler.
My 13 YO son asked me about it yesterday, and I flatly told him that Trump has never advocated for internment camps, but that temporary moratorium so the feds can get their immigration procedures reviewed and corrected.
When it comes to history, he trusts his old man completely, because I know my stuff. He's seen me in numerous conversations where I correct someone who's making erroneous comments.

The same Tom Ridge who was the first Secretary of Homeland Security and who presided over the continuing mass immigration by Muslims? The same Tom Ridge who led the establishment of the TSA?

Here’s a fantasy that would make the GOPe explode - a TRUMP/PALIN ticket!

You have a very lucky son. Thanks, you're very kind. I worked out my own concussion protocol, and it's been used once. He got his bell rung a couple of years back. I went down to him and asked three questions:
What happened on June 6, 1944?
What happened on March 6, 1836?
What happened on November 22, 1963? He didn't answer it reflexively like the first two, so I gave him a hint: I was in 4th grade when it happened. lol
He was fine, but his teammates looked at him in awe: how did he know those dates? lol

Correct. More and more are realizing it. Unfortunately, it assures a “D” win, but so be it.

Wow. Glad you’re son was not badly injured.
But that is impressive.
His teammates must have been in awe.
And Jesse Watters might just have another segment. ;)

Trump or Cruz would be Hillary's worst nightmare. The Donald isn't going to stop calling in to cable news shows, nor will he cease tweeting. He's going to hit Hillary with so much stuff, and in a most direct way.
Cruz is still my #1, but I would vote for Trump in a heartbeat. There is no #3 on my list.

Please don’t tease me. This needs to happen. Have you heard Hillary, well not much of course on purpose, but she is actually the one who has been un hinged.
GO TRUMP!
