Trump has already called him a loser, which he is.
Oh yeah, Trump supporters would abandon him in droves and flock to the mushy moderate Romney.....nope!

Too many of us held our nose and voted the GOP ticket last time around, not because we endorsed much about Romney but because we KNEW instinctively the kind of chaos and utter destruction that Emperor Barky would embark on for our Nation, but the fact is: they didn’t call him ‘Mitt Witt’ for nothing, and Trump was absolutely on target when he said that Romney was a loser, and that he choked in that last debate.
As for that RINO-squish Paul Ryan?
He waited until after 2012 to show HIS true colors, a pox on his house too.

I’ve been holding my noise and voting for the presumably lesser of two evils since 1988. The results are not encouraging.

A lot of us supported Romney in 2012 as the lesser of two evils. We will never make that mistake again.Romney was too NICE to go for the win and we don’t need another wimp to lead what is left of the nation. We need a bull in the RINO shop.

Most of us on this site voted for Romney. Trump’s choice and our choice was him or Obama.

One of the interesting things about Trump (and I am a convinced Trump supporter) is how his campaign has become like a GOP X-ray.
What we call the GOPe is not with us, has never been with us, and never will be with us. From 1988-2004 they used boob bait to sucker us into supporting THEM, but they never had any intention (and don’t now) of supporting one of us - not O’Donnell, not Angle, not Miller, not McDaniel.
The boob bait is being trotted out again - I’ve gotten tons of Jeb sh*t in the last several days using the theme “Only Jeb can defeat ISIS”, “Jeb stands with the troops”, etc, etc, except the effect has worn off.
The funny thing is that Trump ISN’T “one of us”, not exactly, anyway - but he’s BETTER than one of us, because he can do without the GOPe and still be elected, because he can replace and more than replace the Country Club voters with white patriotic Democrats.
I have no doubt - none whatsoever - that the GOPe will go to the wall on this one, either by splitting at or before the convention and running Romney-Ryan as a rump Republican ticket, or, somewhat more likely, concocting a “national salvation” ticket with Hillary, Jeb as VP, to “save America” from “Trump the Nazi”.
That is, if they don’t try direct action first.
Interesting times. Trump has been very, very accessible up here. I pray for his safety.
...that’s true, but the problem is not that we won any of those elections...the problem is we LOST all of those elections.
This is a primary issue, not a general election issue.
