Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Ralph Peters called President Obama "a total pu**y" during a live interview Monday for what he views as his impotent response to the threat of Islamic extremist terrorism.
Peters, a Fox News military analyst, appeared on Stuart Varney's Fox Business program to respond to Obama's Sunday night Oval Office address on the threat of terrorism, a speech that was widely panned. Peters, a fierce critic of Obama's national security policies, was visibly angry as he blasted the speech.
Peters said he was taken aback by Obama's continued references to Americans not giving into their fears.
"Mr. President, we're not afraid! We're angry! We're pissed off! We're furious!" Peters said. "We want you to react. We want you to do something. You're afraid! I mean, this guy is such a total pussy, it's stunning! We, the American people, who he does not know in any intimate sort of manner, we want action. We want action against Islamic State."
Peters went on to say that Obama had done more damage to American police departments than to the Islamic State and had restrained the U.S. military.
"This is a president who doesn't want to hurt our enemies," Peters said. "This is a president who cares more about thugs in Guantanamo or thugs in Ferguson, Missouri, than he does about law-abiding American citizens and their right to live in safety and peace."
Varney tried to cut in a couple times after Peters used the foul language.
"I can tell you are super angry, and I asked you what your reaction was, but I've got to call you ... you can't use language like that on the program, OK?" Varney said.
Peters muttered, "I'm sorry."
Later on, Varney again admonished Peters for using "very strong language about the President of the United States," and Peters again apologized.
"Yes, Stuart, I do apologize for giving into my anger ... but I feel the American people understand where I'm coming from on this," Peters said. "My choice of words was incorrect, but my sentiment, I think, is shared by many."

Through history, possibly back into medieval times, a term women sometimes used in place of pussy would be “my thing”. Does that mean using the term thing is profane? OK, I guess context might count but still.
My wife has at times referred to me by my lifelong nickname given by my staunch catholic mother, Dick; as in “I love Dick”. She has been embarrassed each time but only because some nitwit who knows better makes fun of it.
You can make any term into something profane that you want to but it does not make it profane.
Profane is: relating or devoted to that which is not sacred, religious, or biblical; secular rather than religious.

or
treat (something sacred) with irreverence or disrespect.
I don’t believe that der Fuehrer is a religious or sacred object but he is himself a profanity with his disrespect of orthodox religious practice.
Whole lot of hoo hah over nothing, Peters was not profane. Then again, what do I know about not being profane? I am a Dick; I’ve been one all my life and I’m not changing now.
Fox management are pussies, too. I recommend this network should henceforce begin recruiting its military experts and analysts from the Salvation Army so that this doesn't happen again.
(Fox also better stop posting the word "analyst" on their bottom screen streamers....it's a dirty word, too, you faking-pious hypocrites!)

It was Obama ass kissing Roger Ailes that suspended them both for two weeks. If I were Lt Col Peters I’d see if One America News needs another all-American truth teller who puts America first and not ratings. Faux News makes me sick. A recent survey was done on all the negative Trump stories and guess who led all all the networks with negative coverage of the prohibitive GOP front-runner. You guessed it, it was Faux News at 73%. Next was PMSNBC at 69%. So “fair and balanced” Faux News has been exposed in trying their damnest to drive Donald Trump from the race.
Last night, I personally heard Fox diva Megyn Kelly use the word "crap" on live TV.
Is this fair-haired Fox "star" going to be suspended also?
I'll withhold further comment till someone at Fox or someone here tells me the difference between "sh**" and "crap" (besides two asterisks).
