CAIR, the democrats, the complicit media, and all those who hate America are complicit in using the term “homegrown” to try to deflect blame from the evils of islam, terrorism, and foreign invaders. They try to make real Americans feel that the guilt is somehow on them. It is not.
These terrorists are grown and nurtured and encouraged by evil America-hating individuals and groups which include 0vomit, Hitlery, Kerry, the Clintons, Pelosi, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, McLame, islam, many middle eastern countries, liberals, liberal Euro-weenies, community organizers, activists in the grievance industry, the major media, and Democrats. Especially Democrats who are willing to sell out their country and destroy it in return for votes, power, a cushy job, and personal profits.
However, my guess would be that the author sought to avoid the (fallacious) charge of including a "Black Swan" event (9/11) in the data. Although that rebuttal wouldn't be valid, I'd still expect the gun-phobic self-defense denialists to make it.
By the way, one reason that the "Black Swan" rebuttal wouldn't be valid is because it's the very lack of effective defenses--as required by the laws of the state--which attract such attacks. And that's just as true of, for example, the Breivik incident in Norway as it is of the attack against the Twin Towers. When seconds count, the police--or the US military--are only minutes, or perhaps even hours, away.
Another reason is because those determined to do such things will find a way, regardless of the depth and breadth of prohibitions against the obvious ways of doing such things.
It also willfully ignores events all over the world involving Islamic terrorism. This cult doesn’t play well with others worldwide.
