It spans only 403 square miles and boasts no skyscrapers to speak of, but one rural Indiana county appears to be supporting Republican billionaire Donald Trump for president - with potentially nationwide implications.
Vigo County, Indiana, located on the western edge of the state and home to 108,000 Hoosiers including 40,000 active voters, was spotlighted Friday in a cover story of the Washington-based political magazine Politico.
Why? Because the county has been an accurate bellwether of every U.S. presidential election since 1888, with only two exceptions.
And this year, the county with the nickname 'the crossroads of America' seems to be in a Donald Trump frame of mind.

So, they been wrong before...
Trump/Cruz, the populist and the full spectrum conservative — I could support that ticket.
I believe Trump is going to pick Bruce Jenner as VP.
Heh. I got that.
Given that this county went Democrat in 2012, it sounds more like a suggestion of an eventual Hillary Clinton victory.

Trump: RINO in a Bull Shoppe
Fixed it.
Bruce has left the house; he's not available.
Not bloody likely and also, NOT “funny” nor clever.
Not a “fix” at all; only yet more drivel from your benighted mind.
Trump will never get my vote. Im not a chump... Cruz 2016
I see you are still hurting.
In two months Trump gets dumped.
Have they actually voted yet? So once again this means nothing. Really all these election prediction are stupid. There’s one poll that matters, THE VOTE. Everything else is public masturbation.
Not in the least; but your projection complex appears to be getting worse by the day.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....still delusional I see. Pity that.....
It’s been what, 3 or 4 days?
Put some ice on that.
Goodbye Troll.
I hate to say it, but I dont see Trump, or any Republican, getting 40 states. The election is Hillary’s too lose. The Democrats own by huge margins all the urban population centers which puts all the big states (except Texas) in the Democrats collumn. With the Democrats firmley in control of Colorado and Virginia now, it’s going to be nearly impossible for any Republican to win.
If Trumps wins, or any other Republican wins, it will be by very similar results of Bush’s wins in 2000 and 2004.
