As to Mrs. Cruz, I'm not voting for her. I'm voting for her husband. And as far as I know, Mrs. Cruz has not been accused or convicted of any crime. Other than a lot of conspiracy theories and accusations posted by those hellbent on derailing Cruz's campaign, I don't see any hard evidence that he or his wife are involved in anything sinister.

As for the Senator's record, do a little research. Ted Cruz's time as Senator is limited, but he does have a track record of representing the people who voted for him. He is the most consistent defender of the Constitution. He upholds conservative values. Has he made mistakes? Yes. We will never find the perfect candidate. But Ted Cruz most closely comes to my ideal of the best candidate.

Not wishing to trash Trump, but he does not have Ted Cruz's record. Trump may say a lot of things, but can or will he deliver? I have my doubts. I'm still not sure Trump will stay in the race, but even if he does, I think this campaign is an ego trip for him. Should he be elected, can we trust that he will deliver on his promises, or will his presidency be all about him, not the people?

One thing I have to caution voters on — and this applies to supporters of all candidates, not just Trump — beware of the pretty speech, the candidate who says what you want to hear. Obama could deliver pretty speeches too. People believed in him and look at the almost 8 year nightmare we've been enduring.

I realize you probably mean well but this just strikes me as arrogant and insulting.

Cruz supporters have been assuming Trump supporters go for anything sparkly and shiny and have no reasons for supporting Trump.

You talk about doing a little research on Cruz but you and other Cruz supporters would do well to take your own advice.

There are many reasons I support Donald Trump and I came to those reasons from doing research.

I didn't just take the word of some crackpots on FR and I didn't take the word of dishonest media.

I read his books, I read books about him, I listen to his speeches, that he gives nearly every day, and I' read stories of his history and where he comes from.

I would put my knowledge about Trump up against any Cruz supporter's knowledge about Cruz.

I'm not asking you to change your support to Trump but I am asking you and others, you know who you are, to quit treating Trump supporters like we are idiots or children that have no idea what they are doing.

Honestly, you don't help Cruz by doing it.
