He’s not insulting all Jews because he insults a few rich Jewish Donors. Just wait till he meets with Netanyahu in Israel. Trump is setting a stage and will make all the important Jews and Christians happy in the end in Israel. Most of those Jews he was talking to are rich liberal Jews who are indeed used to exercising control in Republican politics not that Trump has reserved this critique for rich Jews. Trump kisses no asses not matter if they are plated in gold and in the end it will benefit him more than not.
And if you have zero chance with those voters anyway, what is the harm? That they will tell other people that you are a terrible "poyson"? They were going to do that anyway. Come on, give me another reason to be a hypocrite and waste my time being nice to people who despise me down to the ground.
This issue of control and political donations goes back at least to Harry Truman's 1948 campaign. What Trump accuses contemporary Jewish donors of doing, viz. donating to control, is the complaint that one of the Truman women (Harry never said it publicly that I know of) made about that campaign, that three AJC guys came to Harry and said, "do this or else our money all goes to Tom Dewey".
