One of the people killed in the brutal slayings in San Bernardino this week was a Messianic Jew, Nicholas Thalasinos. You may not have heard about that because there is no media narrative served by pointing it out. His particular religious belief, that Jesus Christ is his savior, is of no consequence to the sorts of people who drive the mainstream mediaâs dramatic storytelling.
Thursdayâs coverage of the terror in San Bernardino was rife with lunacy and idiocy, and in that regard CNN had an especially banner day. But perhaps no moment was more awful or galling than when CNN correspondent Gary Tuchman interviewed the widow of the murdered, âoutspokenâ Christian man.
There was a way to navigate this interview that would have answered the question of whether the terrorist was specifically angry with or agitated by an evangelizing Christian without blaming the victim. Tuchman decided not to go that route, offering up instead an interview and a summary that in every way sounded like someone asking a rape victim if she was maybe dressed too provocatively or danced too suggestively.
In other words, CNN wanted to know if he was asking for it.

Too bad that reporter didn’t get slugged.
if you find an acting government to be treasonous, then would the media fit under enemies of the country?
just fanciful thinking.
He declined to grovel in the direction of mecca. He declined to utter blasphemies about allah and mohammed.
He was an infidel.
HE DESERVED TO DIE.
Just ask the deranged followers of mad mo. They'll tell you all about it.
Then slit your throat ...
I looked at his Facebook page, he would of fit in here at FR nicely.
When that media has been subverted, co-opted , and made a partner in it’s traitorous activities with the government, you can definitely categorize them both as ‘domestic enemies’.
That douche bag Tuchman needs a severe ass kicking.
Until such time as these types of “reporters” are driven from the scene, it will never stop. There is no such thing as common decency anymore, there is only intrusion in our personal lives to create slander and transfer of blame.
I’d love to see somebody yank the microphone out of the “reporter’s” hand and cram it down his throat ...
I thought so too, LowOiL. He was unafraid.
boy. great answer.
i’m smart but not gifted with the ability to convey ideas the same way some on the board are.
Case in point. :)
Sec. of Hate John FTA Kerry would say he provoked it.
When the press is liberated by the those identified as deficient will be sent to work the fields.
I’ll ask again, was Farook a registered voter and if so, what was his party affiliation?
“Until such time as these types of âreportersâ are driven from the scene, it will never stop.”
Unfortunately, you must destroy the press one consumer at a time. You do it by ignoring what they have to offer. This is one reason I no longer even own a TV. Make them get jobs asking if you want fries with that.
Of course, he was a Rat.
LOL The abject illiteracy of far too many so called journalists has destroyed journalism, particularly in this country. It has become pure propaganda for the liberals. I agree that we vote with our feet. I walked away from any newspaper sub. some time ago and also cancelled my lifelong National Geographic sub. after they came out with their big Global Warming issue. Haven’t read it since.
LOL! Me too! :>)
You are correct. TV is totally crappy. We have one; but
except for weather reports we don’t watch it much. Husband
is addicted to “Blue Bloods” & can watch those programs
into reruns over & over. It has just about caused a divorce;
but thankfully I can go out in the back room & leave him
with it. I’ve tried to tell him it’s just a fantasy & those
are just ACTORS acting. Oh well.
I watch a little PBS, but am not a fanatic with that. They
can eat their PC stuff until they choke. I like “Summer
Wine” and a little “Doc Martin”, but I don’t have any
misgivings about even those being totally fantasy.
I shut the thing off during the day & the talking heads
on the networks preen to others who fancy that sort of
fake flirtation and PC Prattle.
