I think racial profiling is also important. If the neighbor of the terrorist had not been afraid to speak up when she saw strange goings on at her muslim neighbor’s house, the attack could possibly have been avoided. But since clockboy Ackmed has been given presidential congratulations, the Irving school has been vilified and embarrassed and the little budding terrorist is now suing for a cool 15 mil, people are finding it difficult to speak up.
Well laid out and reasoned. You missed some extremely important steps needed to overcome this scourge:
1. make sure that Clinton loses in 2016
2. make sure Republicans retain the Senate and House
3. ideally, make sure Cruz is elected
4. the new POTUS has to:
a. REALLY clean house in the government and fire as many careerist big-government socialists and communists as possible
b. thoroughly clean house top-to-bottom at Foggy Bottom
c. restore general officers and SecDef who believe in America and will end the lunacy of making our armed forces a social experiment where the troops are soon going to be wearing pink uniforms and demanding “safe spaces.”
d. rescind all of Obama’s EOs.
e. shut down entire departments

I heard an interview with the chief of police of the city of Seattle, Washington last week, after the PP shooting, he announced a new requirement for all 700 of his city police officers, carry off duty, they are all required to carry in plain clothes.
When enough Muslims have been installed throughout America, as Obama himself has implemented, then the Muslim Perfect Day will arrive for us. Read about what happened in Sepoy India. While it’s true that it was a long time ago, it is, no doubt, a Muslim dream to carry out in a nation of infidels. Never before have they had the ability to infiltrate that our own President has given them.
When that day arrives, multiply San Bernardino by a thousand or more, all at the same time, all over America. Law Enforcement would be helpless. So would hundreds of thousands of sitting ducks who are simply carrying out their daily lives, especially those many brainwashed Liberals who have refused to recognize the obvious. Our leaders are deliberately feeding us to hostile forces by trying to deprive us of any means to protect ourselves.
It may be time to do the first thing available. Let our “President” and those who are supposed to be looking after our interests know in no uncertain terms that they will not infringe on our Constitutional rights to protect ourselves and our families.
The American electorate placed the community organizer in a position of great authority. The electorate bears that blame. He has governed about like one would expect of a person with such a background. The American people are bemused, disorganized and lack effective leaders; largely due to a propaganda barrage going on “24/7.”
Arm as many honest, law-abiding Americans as want to be armed. Do so in the work place, in school rooms, in churches, in movie theaters, etc.
Institute a nation-wide conceal and/or open carry for any citizen who is not a felon, of sound mind, and is a US citizen, including firearm training in support of item number #1.
Jeff we have a large pool of honorably discharged vets. Our DD 214 lists the weapons we were qualified on.
Get the states to ease up on conceal permits and allow any qualified vet, via their honorable discharge and 214 to get a conceal permit. Run the FBI background check and a simple firearm safety course reminder for a couple of hours. Then grant us with a 50 state concealed weapons permit that can be canceled due to criminal behavior, drug use, DUI’s or misuse of any firearm or weapon.
Can you imagine a NFL game with several hundred fans from this group with concealed weapons. Free tickets and a food allowance would be enough pay for most of us.
Run a 2-4 day public safety course to qualify these vets if they would like to hired on as security guards like the air marshalls. Then, schools and special events like sporting events would have a large pool of qualified and armed people to draw from.
This could be done quickly and without a lot of cost.
Blue states not wanting to participate would probably suffer serious economical losses by refusing to arm their good citizens.

Did Tashfeen radicalize Syed, did the local Mosque help in it?

Why isn't the press looking into these types of questions rather than endlessly running with the same old, same old, same old 'gun control' meme? Actually, only the Texas border is the Rio Grand...and people cross it all of the time.
I would build the fence on our side of the river, set back for major flood control issues. I believe the border probably runs down the middle, but having it on our side will suffice.
Fences can be built to handle the river...it is done all of the time.
If there are necessary entry points to the River, you treat those just like you do for border crossings.
There is no reason why that cannot, and should not be done. it will provide the same deterrence to crossers. They will have no place to go if they do succeed in swimming.
