December 3, 2015: GOP Presidential candidate and front-runner Donald Trump was one of several Presidential candidates to speak at the 2015 Republican Jewish Coalition's Presidential Forum.
It got a little awkward there for a minute when he started taking questions and someone asked about his feelings on Jerusalem being the undisputed capital of Israel. He didn't exactly answer the quarstion...

It's probably better to watch the speech than to read about it out of context.
I suspect the person booing was Eric Cantor. :P
LOL...what, you expected that he would?
They do lie. But of course, that’s all they’ve got.
Hang tough, Trump is gonna win.
Doesn’t that sort of thing happen after the rapture?
People will decide until that happens.
Notwithstanding the fact that Trump hates to lay his cards on the table for all to see. Trump is so pro Israel it is ridiculous. There are a lot of trolls on this forum.
His daughter and her husband are Jews.
Israel has no stronger supporter, than Trump.
As are their children.
He just makes up stuff. Another unhinged one.
There were parts of the speech that didn’t have my full attention.
Did he make a veiled mention of something happening to him?
Apology graciously accepted.
Of course. Trump visiting Bibi will erase any doubt about Trump’s intentions. This is a tempest in a teapot about Trump’s responses here.
I wouldn't go that far. I would just write in Donald J. Trump anyway if anybody other than Trump or Cruz are nominated.
Finally had the energy to watch this. It was a very good speech, struck me as totally honest in his views.
The TDS is strong in this thread. If your goal is actual peace and not silly pandering, Trump is 100% correct. He wants to talk to BiBi and see what is possible. There is nothing wrong with that.
George Bush promised to move the embassy in 1999 when he was a candidate and then found out doing so would jeopardize national security and ignored it. He was pandering to rich donors in 1999 just like Marco and Rubio and all the other tools. It’s all bullshit.
Trump doesn’t blow sunshine up anyone’s ass. He’s going to call it straight. Some people can’t handle that. And at the end of the day, the only way a peace agreement gets done is if both sides come to the table in good faith and agree to concessions. It’s unlikely but give Trump credit for at least having an open mind to impossible things.
Here’s the dirty little secret about Israel. The muslim population within Israel is breeding at much higher rates than the Jews. In a generation or two, the jewish majority may be at risk. Some painful concessions to form a two state solution may be the only long term strategy that preserves the jewish state, except for some kind of apartheid South Africa solution which would be untenable long term.
I think some of these folks are GOPe operatives.
They don’t care if they make Cruz look bad either, if you’ll notice.
So Donald Trump wants to make a deal with the Palestinians to hand over Jerusalem to them ? Or give half to Israel, the other half to terrorists.
Conservative Jews know he is not a politician, so he does not talk in slogans. You actually have to listen to what he says.
What he said is that he wants to sit down and see if there is a deal to be made. He observed Israel is reluctant with the current deal on the table (demanded by the Palestinians via the UN and US.) So, he said, he’s not sure there is a deal to be made but he wants something to work out. He also said he does not blame Israel and that Israel has already given a lot and it is not recognized.
He did not say “give Jerusalem to them.” Bless your heart, quit being a nut.
This guy gets a two-fer for the GOPe.
He slanders Trump and makes Cruz look bad pretending to be a supporter of his.
This bug is going around these days...
OK, just to make you guys happy I’ll volunteer, yes, volunteer to ask on my part for Jim Robinson to officially ban me from Free Republic inspite of the fact he promised me years ago, over 11 years ago that he would never ban me.
So, I on a volunteer basis do so ask Jim Robinson to ban me officially from Free Republic, that’s solely on my part a voluntary choice that I make.
I don’t think anyone asked for you to be banned.
Take a chill.
