They won’t fly beyond certain limits. The flying isn’t the problem, getting the damned thing down is.

Not a problem, just drop a cable , hook it onto the center landing platform dog, rev the chopper engine to take up the cable slack, head the chopper into the wind in a stable hover and winch her down to the heaving deck. Thats the way its done in the North Atlantic and thats the way they do it on this vessel in the South Pacific.
