After she joined Donald Trump's real estate business, Louise Sunshine struggled to maintain a steady weight while managing her new career alongside the busy schedules of three young children.
Trump must have noticed, SunÂshine said. She recalled that he kept an unflattering photograph of her in a drawer - a "fat picture," as she called it - that he would pull out when she did something he didn't like.
It was "a reminder that I wasn't perfect," said Sunshine, who worked with Trump for 15 years starting in the mid-1970s when he set about remaking Manhattan's skyline. "He just is that way."
Sunshine said she bears no grudges and instead considers Trump a valued mentor. A political fundraiser with no prior real estate expertise, Sunshine ascended to executive vice president of the Trump Organization, joining a cadre of female executives who have played central roles in Trump's empire.
Trump called Sunshine's account of the photograph "totally false and ridiculous," but her feelings illustrate a paradox about the Republican front-runner.

But many women who have worked closely with Trump say he was a corporate executive ahead of his time in providing career advancement for women. While some say he could be boorish, his companies nurtured and proÂmoted women in an otherwise male-dominated industry. Several women said they appreciated how Trump granted them entry to a new playing field.

Yeah, you’re right. With Trump, it’s always someone else’s fault. No doubt the ex-wives are to blame. He would misrepresent himself on this issue.
Actually, most NYers knew that Ivana was a yenta who ran the Plaza Hotel into the ground.
The Compost must have found a shiite load of women who work(ed) for Trump who liked him as a boss so they felt they HAD to start with this weak story as the best hit piece material they could find - sad to see journalism is dead.
In an interview w/Trump, he said that his constant working was not ideal for marriages. (I'm paraphrasing what he said.)
Hey, senor homeboy - stuff it in your sombrero.
Trophy?
Who is he trying to impress?
Slick Willy stayed married to one and shagged umpteen while doing so.
Yup!
My name is SUE!
How do you DO!
You're single, right? You couldn't sound like more of a cad.
He already did. It’s called a Faustian Pact.
I think Trump just treats women the same way he treats men in the workplace. He likely just does not change himself for anybody. Everybody gets the same Donald. :-)
Absolutely. I’ve worked for men with Trump’s personality type, and they were the best bosses I’ve ever had. No games. Sense of humor. If you do a good job, it’s noticed and rewarded. No PC BS.
Donald Trump quote...
36. Women: “You have to treat ‘em like s—t.” ( New York magazine, Nov. 9, 1992)

He also pays the women the same as them men, but he has said that more women, in his organization, make the BIG BUCKS, than the men do.
I’m married now for over 31 years. I don’t turn ‘em in. I keep my vow.
Well, then, she had it coming.
Something he shares with Hillary!
Wow, you've got a hell of an ear. All that from just his post?
It would seem that Donald traded in Ivana for a younger model, Marla Maples since he started having an affair with Marla who it is claimed he met at church while still married to Ivana, leading to a scandal and tabloid feast, followed by a contentious and costly divorce for Trump.
After he married Maples, Trump said in an interview with Esquire magazine:
That marriage didn't last long however and it has been said it was because Maples didn't like the time Trump spent working instead of with her and their daughter Tiffany.
Then again Ivana seems to have her own issues since she was married once before marrying Trump and married twice after.
