Jeb knows that all he has to do is win one single state primary, and there’s more than enough super-delegates at the convention to win the Republican Convention for himself.

Can you spend a moment telling me about this nomination chicanery?

Silly me thought the one with the most delegates won in state primaries would win.

Thx

Something had better change if he wants that one.

If it plays out that way the party will explode.

I'm not expert enough to know if that is true or not. But I feel confident in saying that if the superdelegates "gift" Jeb with the nomination at the convention, the Republican turnout in the general election is likely to be super low. I know I'll stay home and I'll watch President Hillary make her acceptance speech. And I'll make no apologies.

The GOPe elite can win with Trump and/or Cruz. If they try any funny stuff, then we will all suffer with Hillary for 4 years.

The Republican Party does not have super delegates.

I’m not sure that he actually has to win even one. As the rules are now a candidate must win majorities in 8 primaries to be considered at the Convention. With Carson and Cruz and Rubio continuing in the race it is quite possible that Trump cannot win those 8 majorities even if he gets large pluralities in all of them. Bush is expected to win his 8 in the superlib states that seldom vote Republican anyway. Trump may well deny him even those majorities in which case it will go to the Superdelegates. If no one is eligible for consideration then everyone is eligible. If such is the case look for the decredentialling of many state delegations or parts of them and perhaps the creation of more Superdelegates. The RNC can make and change the rules as it sees fit and the CofC largely determine the Fitness of things..

Thought you needed to win 8 states?
