Jeb Bush cited the rise and fall of 2012 GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain as he sought to reassure supporters at a Longboat Key fundraiser Monday that their faith in him is well placed.

By noting that Cain led in the polls at this point in 2012 only to flame out, Bush implied that current GOP front-runners Donald Trump and Ben Carson could follow the same path.

"We have plenty of time to persuade" was the message said Bradenton state Sen. Bill Galvano. "They're not voting tomorrow."

I think we are seeing why Mom Bush did not want little Jebbie to run.

She knows her sons’ limitations. He clearly is not Presidential material.

I have 3 daughters. One of them is going to college for Aerospace Engineering. The other is going for psychology. They are both good at their choices, but I would expect neither of them to be successful if they switched... I just know what they are good at.

What Jeb is missing is that in the past the rinos could garner almost 40% of the vote together and when the party forced all to drop out but one and the conservatives stayed in until it was too late they had a path to winning.

Today if all the rinos drop out but one they still can not beat the top conservatives not to mention Rubio is polling better than Jeb and it is Jeb who will be asked to leave. Now with conservatives starting to leave the race it is getting even worse for them. That is why the rest of the elite are panicking.

Of course they are endorsing Jeb, Hillary beats him. If CNN is endorsing a republican to be the candidate it means the dem can beat them.

I don't know if Rick Santorum is delusional. My more or less apolitical Canadian wife sometimes watches things I have running on YouTube or streaming, and she saw Santorum at the debate. Her comment was that he was having the time of his life, being up there and being asked things etc. She was of the mind that he looked like he LIKED running for president. Maybe he does. At the same time, it raises his visibility for a possible cabinet post. I'd put him at HHS in a heartbeat.
