Charles Boustany is an establishment hack. Conservatives can do better.

In a related matter, it’s possible that Scott Angelle will be a candidate to succeed Boustany in the House.

True

“In a related matter, it’s possible that Scott Angelle will be a candidate to succeed Boustany in the House.”

Snake Angelle teamed up with his fellow snake Jindal to defeat Vitter.

Defeating both Boustany and Angelle is paramount.

Dear Scottie,

Why should a little b*tch a** punk who’s been a Republican for all of 5 years and failed to support the Republican nominee for Governor be elected as a Republican to Congress?

Answer: He shouldn’t. Have the decency to run under your real parties’ banner. Or better yet, drop dead!

Probably the best thing that came out of the gubernatorial debacle on the weekend is that Vitter won’t run for re-election to the Senate (imagine the mess if he did run). In light of the fact that the GOP won every single statewide office except governor, it means that the Republicans will almost certainly hold onto this seat. However, they must choose a strong Ted Cruz-like Republican and not just a squish.
