Well, if they can nuke Trump, they won’t have to spend another penny to achieve THAT goal. Of course, not only will the GOPe lose the Presidency at that point, they’ll lose the down-ticket races as well, and probably permanently destroy the Republican party, which might not be such a bad thing if the rich GOPe string-pulling plutocrats and oligarchs have enough influence to thwart the will of the bulk of GOP voters.

Well, if those were some of their initial goals, looks like Mair and Wilson have blown it before the starting gate even opened.

I thought it was a mistake for Trump to sign a ‘loyalty pledge’, without a reciprocal pledge from the GOP.
I cannot forget how the GOP backed Murkowski, after she lost the primary.
Nor can I forget how the GOP actively supported Thad Cochran, when he was challenged in a primary.
And of course I cannot forget the complete lack of support the GOP gave Christine O’Donnell, after she won her primary.
This is most appalling because they demanded a statement of loyalty from him but now won’t return it. I see this as their breaking the agreement.
Politicians who’s names get tied to this, especially when Trump calls them out will find their careers are suddenly over.
