"Hillary Clinton is weak on illegal immigration, among many other things. She is strong on corruption - corruption is what she’s best at!"

It's been 14 hours now since this Trump tweat appeared, but after Googling and Binging on the the keywords "Hillary corruption", I see no MSM news stories or commentary on this inflammatory tweat.

What's gives? Are the editors of WaPo, NYT, and Politico asleep?

One thing we know for sure: The MSM watches Trump's twitter account like a hawk. I have seen stories reacting to a Trump tweat within only a few minutes of being posted.

So why the silence? Could it be that the story of "Clinton Corruption" is boring and not newsworthy?

Is a tweat a tweet that is in a sweat?

I think that what gives is that Trump has trapped them.
Look at the wording If they complain that Trump is calling Hilary corrupt he can say that he was praising her ability to fight corruption.

Either way the media loses

Yep. MSM can’t handle the truth.

Funny how the DNC ‘frontrunner’ attracts only a handful to her staged “rallies”.

The media may be taking the approach that the corruption needs to be played down for now. They know that she is vulnerable on this issue and to make a stink now would merely bring the issue to the fore. So they have decided to ignore it.

No, just a spell checker error. There is an extra 'e' in tweat.

Well, certainly the Clintons have a lot of first hand experience with corruption. In that light Mr. Trump's tweet isn't really revealing or enlightening. Maybe the MSM is ignoring it as non-news?

More likely, the MSM propaganda outlets realize that most of the public already distrusts Hillary as a corrupt liar. Most of the rest know/acknowledge she is a corrupt liar but back her anyway. So the MSM lapdogs are trying their best to simply not have "Hillary" and "corruption" out there together anywhere since it is already a bad, yet fairly solid association.

So if they ignore him, he can just bring it up at the next debate.

Given that this is about Hillary, I’d say a tweat is a word where the e is about to be murdered by the a.

I am wondering why, in the face of all that has happened with Hillary, the Democrat field is not also full of candidates.

I think the Democrats know that they are going to lose, and they are letting Hillary be the sacrificial lamb. It also serves to destroy the Clinton regime for good, to be replaced by a more radical wing of the socialist.

They know she is corrupt, and are going to use it to get rid of her, and then bide their time for the next election cycle, in either four or eight years.

In this way, they can ride out the coming economic crash that they created, and can blame the Republicans for doing it, since it will happen on the Republican watch.

This is the ultimate corruption, only to be fought with education by the voters.

I was hoping it was a thing, because if so, we could say of Yeb’s messaging that it is useless as a bore’s tweat.

No need to go there, I think we danced sufficiently around the real word that describes exactly what she is.

“Or is it like the twist of a teat?”

Now that I had not thought of, but it certainly would describe a certain category of tweets. I like it!
