Writing for the Huffington Post, writer Shea Watts wonders aloud how the United States could possibly condemn ISIS when the US has been committing terrorism for hundreds of years.
His article, âLooking Within: The Convenient Amnesia of American Terrorism,â argues that Americans have perpetrated terrorism for centuries and that we must face these facts or else we are hypocrites for condemning the terror attacks in Paris last week.
âHow much blood is on our hands?â Watts asks. âWhat a shame that we, as a nation, have not looked upon our sins. We have not asked forgiveness for the the lives and bodies and communities we have destroyed. These unreconciled acts of the past continue to manifest themselves in our society.â
Hypocritical whites and Christians have terrorized black people for hundreds of years. African Americans are, in fact, still subjects of terrorism.
âWe live in a country where the dead body of a black teenager can be left in the street for hours, where police are recorded, time after time, beating, shooting, and mistreating blacks, but are seldom charged for their crimes,â he writes.
âHow convenient is it that so many act as if these acts of terror never happened or pretend that this degree of hate does not exist?â Watts asks.
âDo we realize how these terrorist acts are reaffirmed and even recommitted by not only our actions, but also by our words?â he says, stating that words can ârecommitâ acts of terror. âAt the very least, this should make one pause and think before one says, âALL LIVES MATTER.ââ
Watts concludes, âSo before you make a statement on race, educate yourself on the history of American terrorism⦠We must come to terms with our own violence against our own people before we can condemn ISIS and the likes of them.â

Racist b*tch.
Shea Watts
I don’t think we should be too quick to judge this spirited young writer.
We don’t refer to it as HuffPo for nothing...
I’m a little confused by your wording.
I don’t think all the bad guys will be black, nor all the good guys white. But yes, there is a huge amount of racial discord, much to Obama’s and the [white and black] liberals’ credit. It is bubbling over and may well lead to wide spread violence. Out right “war”? Who knows? Things rarely play out as the instigators plan them to. But we are heading for a point where the racially inspired resentment will paralyze our society.
However, the libs have done a thorough job of creating a number of other aggrieved groups that are getting pretty aggressive. So, in some ways it’s not all about racial grievances.
Incredible amount of “racism” whining all of a sudden. You’d think America was the absolute worst place on planet to live, yet so many still flock here.
All these people can move to African nations or Haiti where evil whitey is no where to be found.
Jed? did you leave the lid of the cesspool again?
The problem is very few of our lives matter, whatever the color. I mean, sure, it matters to you and your loved ones. But who else really cares if it’s you who croaks today or the guy don the street. We’re all crying out in the wilderness.
Yes Jim, they ARE idiots !
So, is Huffpo saying that white lives don’t matter? Who would read their crap if not for white libtards?
It is, but only one side is fighting it. I wonder if the other side will ever join the fight?
Yup, that’s what the Black Bowel Movement believes: Only Black Lives Matter. And I don’t believe the majority of blacks are this shallow, racist or just plain stupid!
Whatever your race, if you were hanging from a cliff, a good majority of people would try to help you, black or white. Not so with BLM, at least not with whites and Asians, and probably most Hispanics as well.
He does not even rise to the level of stupidity; he is cravenly animated by irrational fear re-projected into self righteous zeal.
I did run over a toad with my lawn mower last summer, but it was his fault, cuz' you know, he jumped up, so I hope I'm clean.

I submit that “writer Shea” should practice autocopulation.
