Yet Carson’s backing from primary voters in pre-election polls has been thus far to me the biggest surprise of the campaign. I had expected such uninformed ones to be for Jebbie.

Speaking as a former pilot, the mechanics of doing that is really not that difficult; especially if that is the singular focus of one’s training.

We don’t need to call anyone “fool”. Christ warned that
anyone saying, “Thou fool” shall be in danger of hell
fire.

So far, I like Cruz; but I will crawl over broken glass
for miles to vote for whomsoever runs against Hitler-y!
Retire her!!!

There you go. Thank you for that.

Now is somebody gonna say something really stupid like “Carson’s a surgeon not a pilot. He should just stick with what he knows”, when they don’t know diddly about what Carson knows themselves.

“I’d like to see him put a 757 into a 208 ft wide window at 500-600 mph at 600-700 ft altitude under that sort of stress.”

I’ll bet you would.

“Publana.
Why do you feel the need to attack so personally to defend Carson?”

If you mean me then I’ll tell you this- I feel the need to point it out to anyone who says things like that about a fellow American with the resume’ of a Dr. Carson when compared to him, their accomplishments are so puny that you’d need a microscope to be able to see them.

It staggers the mind to know that there are people out there who are willing to say that Neil Armstrong was an idiot too.

And who the hell are you, some sort of co-offendee or are you just plain nosey?

Bringing down the World Trade Towers necessary ingredients: terrorists willing to die in the process, and planes with weak cockpit doors.

“Carson’s savant rhetoric is simply not mainstream.”

That’s because his intellect and depth of thinking are above average and outside the “halls of mediocrity”!

If you’re at all serious about his rhetoric being savant-like then perhaps you need to better familiarize yourself with the definitions of the terms that you so loosely use.

And just for the record, I don’t think he’s the best prospect for the (R) nomination but I do think he should be kept friendly and available for public service because there should be an important place for him in the next (R) administration.

Give Carson credit where it’s due. Paris was a lot tougher. It took real hardware to pull off. The thing about 9-11 wasn’t that it was difficult, it was that it was INGENIOUS...big difference. No one ever considered the idea of planes being turned into missiles and if the FBI had caught them prior and announced it, we all would have been laughing AT THE FBI, for being fooled so easy.

Then they had to have had many hours on a flight simulator hitting those buildings. There’s the sophistication. After 10 hrs logged and at about 65 kts, the PA-22 I flew didn’t just land itself in the middle of a 100’ wide runway without a bit of work and concentration on my part—and I wasn’t on a suicide mission. Then, on FS, I tried with a 757 at full speed to hit the towers and even then it was just clipping them the first few times. They had almost dead center hits on both buildings on the first try. Sorry, but Carson doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Ben, please stop feeding the trolls...

I'm in agreement that it's true. There wasn't some overly sophisticated attack involved here. We had open borders, non-existent security checks, and FBI/CIA and State governments that could not communicate through the "Jamie Gorelik Wall". The terrorists really didn't have to work very hard to get into a position where they could inflict mass murder on Americans.

So a few deviants, with the total IQ equivalent of a drunken Kennedy on a bender were able to slaughter thousands of innocents.

Yet again you attack people who have a different view to you over Carson and yes I mean you and I posted to you.

You sure post, write , and attack in the same way as Publana who posted the exact same attack, within a couple of minutes in the early hours of the morning. Who both signed up in a couple of days within each other and are from the same state.

So my question is why do you feel the need to have two different usernames and the use them both to attack another freeper, thus trying to make it look like your view is more common or popular?

Very sad.

Ben is right on target here. However, this finding was stated by others shortly after 911.

I have/had considered large airplanes as terminal weapons for 30+ years. So did Clancy. If you didn't you are not very creative.

Debt of Honor circa 1994.

A novel by the military thriller writer Tom Clancy, one of America’s top-selling authors, includes a plotline of a suicide pilot deliberately crashing a commercial jet plane into the US Capitol building in Washington, DC. The story of Debt of Honor is based around a crisis between Japan and the United States. A short, armed conflict between the two nations arises and is won by the US. The book ends with a Japanese commercial airline pilot deliberately crashing a Boeing 747 into the US Capitol building during a joint session of Congress. The president is killed, along with most of the Senate, House, Supreme Court, and others

“yes I mean you and I posted to you.”

BFD!

I don’t have two different user names and your ‘brilliant deduction’ shows how inadequate your powers of observation really are.

Boo-hooo...You call THAT an “attack”???

Mommy’s not here to make you feel safe. Go back to pee-wee league until you can compete for a real trophy. Feeling like the loser you seem to be might be a good character-builder for you. After all, you’re losing this one too!

“Very sad”?

That’s your problem buddy, not mine. I’m more than willing to let you feel that way. Who am I to try to talk you out of it? What a chump!

Insults and insults love it. HA HA.

So tough over the internet and yet you call me the loser, the guy with two different usernames using them to back yourself up. HA HA

Good bye to either of you.
